| With the development of society,all classes have rapidly increased their attention to higher education,and the Chinese government has also shifted its new focus to how to develop higher education with higher quality.The third-party evaluation of higher education is an important way to ensure the high-quality development of higher education.In the process of the gradual professionalization of third-party evaluation agencies,the third-party evaluation of higher education has gradually formed a relatively sound mechanism.This set of mechanisms can guarantee the operation of evaluation agencies in a more systematic and professional way,thereby better guaranteeing the quality of higher education.As a country with relatively developed higher education,the UK has a relatively sound third-party evaluation mechanism for higher education.The British Accreditation Council(BAC)has made important contributions to ensuring the quality of British higher education and maintaining its leading position in the world.As a worldrenowned third-party assessment agency,BAC has a lot of experience in higher education certification that we can learn from.This article mainly uses the literature research method and comparative research method and case study method to sort out the development history,organizational structure and education certification cases of the British Accreditation Board for analysis,so as to fully absorb the successful experience of the British Accreditation Board,and combine my country’s continuing education and higher education evaluation and certification.The current situation is expected to provide a reference for my country to establish and improve a third-party evaluation mechanism for higher education.This article is divided into two parts: introduction and main text.The introduction mainly clarifies the research background,research significance,definition of related concepts,literature review,and the research ideas,methods,and major difficulties of this article.The main text first reviews and sorts out the historical development of the British Accreditation Council(BAC).Secondly,it analyzes the organizational structure of the British Certification Board,the certification scheme,the benefits of certification,the certification procedures and the certification cases.Finally,it summarizes its successful experience and summarizes the desirable points that suit the actual situation of our country.Through research,this article believes that the British Accreditation Board is driven by the awareness of quality assurance,under the background of changing social needs,and through continuous reforms and innovations,it has gradually developed into a leader in the field of education evaluation and certification in the UK and internationally.This shows that the actual needs of the society are the development guides that restrict and promote the evaluation and certification of education.Finally,based on the study of the British Accreditation Council,this article proposes to further improve and optimize our country’s higher education evaluation work,to de-administrate the construction of evaluation institutions,establish comprehensive and detailed evaluation standards,simplify the acquisition of evaluation results,and make the use effect public and strengthen Suggestions on supervision and accountability of evaluation agencies. |
