In the Internet era of big data,social people have more multiple channels to obtain news information,and more and more attention is paid to higher education.With the continuous expansion of the scale of college entrance examination and the intensification of competition among colleges and universities,the media image of colleges and universities is vital to enhance the popularity and reputation about them.The author work at Lanzhou University,hope to analytical and study Lanzhou University’s image and its shortcomings in the environment background of new media.these will play an important role in accelerating the construction of the "world-class university with Chinese characteristics".This thesis takes the media image of Lanzhou University as the beginning point,selects news reports about Lanzhou University in "today the headline" as the research sample,and analyzes the research samples by means of content analysis and text analysis.The thesis studies the image of Lanzhou University modeled in "today the headline",analyzes the existing problems and puts forward some Suggestions to improve the media image of Lanzhou University.The part one of this thesis is the introduction,centering on the background of the topic,research status,research purposes and methods;what’s more,mainly introduces the image of colleges and universities,the concept of new media and the influence of new media on the image of colleges and universities;The second chapter sorts out and analyzes the selected samples of "today the headline" from the aspects of reporting time,reporting sources,reporting categories and reporting positions;The last one of chapter is mainly based on the samples of the third chapter,summarizes the media image of Lanzhou University in"today the headline"contains both positive and negative images;The last chapter studies the problems and causes of the media image report of Lanzhou University in"today the headline"and provides suggestions for improving the media image of Lanzhou University. |
