A Study On The Evolution And Governance Of Pneumonia Rumors In COVID-19 From The Perspective Of Crisis Psychology

COVID-19 is a major public health event since SARS.It is a typical crisis event.During the period,a lot of rumors have been generated,which has devastating effects on the whole society and individuals.Generally speaking,people’s psychological crisis is accompanied by crisis events,which includes three stages: shock stage,relaxation stage and solution stage.As a barometer of personal psychological state,rumor evolves with the change of people’s crisis psychology,which is the original intention of the study.From the perspective of psychology and communication,this study analyzed the evolution of crisis psychology and rumor under the theoretical framework of projection theory and post-traumatic stress disorder through literature,case analysis and COVID-19 pneumonia.The results show that novel coronavirus pneumonia threatens the life safety of the people in the impact stage of COVID-19,triggering people’s fear,panic and anxiety.Under the influence of various emotions and the interests of protecting themselves,rumors show a high number of subjects and themes tend to be safe subjects.In the period of COVID-19’s relaxation,personal anxiety and fear are reduced.In order to restore the balance mentality,the demand for resuming normal life is rising,the rumor is rising,and the rumors of security are decreasing;in the late COVID-19,most of the people are emotionally stable,and some people’s negative emotions continue to be affected by the post traumatic emergency disorder.Later,people will shift their attention from the epidemic situation and release the pressure from rumors.At this time,the rumors appear low frequency,and the theme of pressure relief is inclined to emotional comfortIn a word,crisis psychology and rumors have the same stage characteristics.The strength of crisis psychology is directly proportional to the number of rumors,and both show the same frequency resonance phenomenon.Finally,based on the experience at home and abroad,combined with the evolution characteristics of rumors,this paper defines the response ideas of rumors in crisis events,and hopes to put forward valuable suggestions for the response management of rumors.
