In his report to the 19 th National Congress of the CPC,General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed to "strengthen cultural confidence and promote the prosperity of socialist culture".A country’s cultural confidence is first based on the understanding and cognition of its own history and culture.Throughout the modern and modern history of China,many excellent educators and athletes have emerged,who have made many contributions to China’s education and sports in China.Zhang Boling(1876-1951)was one of the outstanding representatives.He was an educator with an important position and outstanding achievements in modern education history,one of the main advocates of the early Chinese Olympic Movement,and was known as "the first person in the Olympic Games in China".While pursuing and spreading the Olympic spirit and culture,Zhang Boling has also strongly advocated for the Olympic movement in China.Zhang Boling’s Olympic thought was gradually bred,formed and developed in its profound interpretation of education and sports theory and its rich sports practice.This paper takes Zhang Boling Olympic thought as the research object.On the basis of literature method,historical research method,expert interview method,logic analysis method,on the draft),self-report and historical archives,analyze the formation of the historical background and influence factors,recall the Olympic practice in modern China,sort out the core content,summarize its contribution to the development of modern sports,and then explore its contemporary enlightenment.The research aims to provide reference for the history of modern sports thought and related research.The research conclusions and the contemporary enlightenment are summarized as follows:1.The birth of Zhang Boling’s Olympic thought is inseparable from the social background in modern China.These include political,economic,social and cultural and other factors,and are closely related to their own experiences and education between Chinese and Western countries.2.Zhang Boling’s rich Olympic practice can be divided into three stages: leading the vision of participating in the Olympic Games,jointly establishing the Far East Games,and formally participating in the Olympic Games.3.Zhang Boling’s Olympic thought is based on the introduction of the sports education concept with the core connotation of the two development,the sports competitive spirit of "strong body,sound spirit",and the sports ethics of "win respect,build friendship",and culture.Fora rich connotation,unique Olympic thought.4.Zhang Boling Olympic thought has a profound influence and social significance on modern China,with the following contemporary values:(1)individual perspective "advocate sportsmanship,shaping ideal personality";(2)school field "play physical education function,help curriculum reform";(3)social dimension "promote national fitness,correct unhealthy atmosphere";(4)national level "promote sports power,national rejuvenation";(5)international communication horizon "lay the Olympic foundation,facilitate cultural integration".In short,Zhang Boling Olympic Thought is quite pioneering in the history of modern sports thought,and it is a cultural product of epoch-making significance.This study grasps the ideological theme,combines theoretical knowledge with sports practice,gives full play to the unique advantages of its education and sports thought,and runs it through the thinking of today’s sports practice reform. |
