In the process of research, this paper selects "Instructional Design and Performance Technology" as a public compulsory course for education majors as a case, and designs"<Instructional Design and Performance Technology>Online Learning Investment Questionnaire" to understand G University and X Normal University 40 students majoring in freshman education at the two surveyed universities were surveyed to understand their investment in online learning in learning tasks of different complexity. In the process of investigation and analysis, students’ online learning investment is divided into three dimensions:behavioral investment, emotional investment, and cognitive investment.Under each dimension, secondary dimensional indicators are set,and then descriptive statistics are performed. The result is that students are trueThe level of online learning investment in online learning is above the middle level, with the highest emotional investment and higher cognitive investment than behavioral investment. Then, according to the learning data of the course, the impact of task complexity on students’ online learning investment is quantitatively analyzed, and the results are as follows:(1)The complexity of tasks affects students’ online learning investment.Low-complexity tasks have low online learning investment,medium-complexity tasks have higher online learning investment, and high-complexity tasks are not too high;(2)Task complexity affects students’ online learning behavior investment.Low-complexity tasks have lower online learning behavioral investment,medium-complexity tasks have higher online learning behavioral investment, and high-complexity tasks are not too high;(3)Task complexity affects students’ emotional investment in online learning, and students’ online learning investment is generally positively correlated with task complexity;(4)Task complexity affects students’ cognitive investment in online learning, and the cognitive investment in online learning for low-complexity tasks Low,medium-complexity tasks have higher cognitive investment in online learning, and high-complexity tasks are not too high in online learning cognitive investment. This research result validates the hypothesis of this article.According to these research results, teachers of the course "Instructional Design and Performance Technology" can provide strategies to guide students to invest in online learning,so as to promote the improvement of students’ learning effects. |
