Research On The Phenomenon Of Jiangsu Basketball Reserve Talents Drain From The Perspective Of Capital Theory

The quantity and quality of reserve basketball talents are related to the ecology and height of the development of basketball in China.Jiangsu basketball has always occupied an important position in the development of basketball in China.In recent years,Jiangsu basketball talent loss is serious,especially the male reserve talent facing fault.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to strengthen the phenomenon of reserve brain drain and its root causes.This study combs the quantity and structure of basketball reserve talents in Jiangsu Province,investigates the phenomenon of basketball reserve talents drain in Jiangsu Province,analyzes the system environment,the basic causes,the process and the consequences of basketball reserve talents drain,and puts forward countermeasures.With capital theory as the analytical framework,the following conclusions are drawn through the methods of literature,case analysis,comparative analysis,expert interview and mathematical statistics:1.In terms of human capital,professional basketball players face prominent contradiction in learning and training.The pressure of competition and entering a higher school forces players to find ways out through multiple channels and increase the value of human capital.2.In terms of economic capital,under the pressure of economic capital conversion,the basketball market lacks unified management,and voluntary,social and enterprise basketball organizations send well-trained basketball reserve talents to other provinces for profit,which accelerated the loss of basketball reserve talents in Jiangsu Province.3.In terms of social capital,the flow of basketball reserve talent shows more and more "informal" communication characteristics,and the flow of talent with trust relationship and emotional connection as the main way is more influential,resulting in the possibility of "black box operation" and brain drain is increasing;4.In terms of cultural capital and symbolic capital,the pressure of studying and entering a higher school,the large population base of youth basketball,the lack of opportunities to play games and the unclear positioning of coaches on players’ development will affect the identity of reserve talents and the sense of belonging to the team.
