| Aggressive behavior is a kind of intentional behavior to hurt oneself and others.Aggressive behavior plays an important role in teenagers’ physical and mental health and social development.Campus bullying is more common among teenagers,and the number of high school students is more frequent.Therefore,schools,parents and other parties need to pay attention to the aggressive behavior of teenagers.Previous studies have shown that parental psychological control can significantly predict adolescents’ aggressive behavior.However,the internal mechanism needs further study.This study introduces empathy as a variable to explore its regulatory mechanism between parental psychological control and aggressive behavior of high school students.In this study,351 senior high school students in Shanxi Province were investigated with the parents’ psychological control questionnaire,buss perry aggression questionnaire and basic empathy scale,research results:First,the parents’ psychological control and aggressive behavior of high school students generally belong to the lower middle level,and the empathy level of high school students is better.Second,there are significant gender differences in the scores of empathy and its two dimensions among senior high school students.Among them,the total score of empathy and the scores of cognitive empathy and emotional empathy of female students are significantly higher than those of male students.There were significant gender differences in the scores of physical aggression and anger.Boys’ scores of physical aggression were significantly higher than girls,while girls’ scores of anger were significantly higher than boys.There are significant differences in hostility and anger among high school students of different grades.The score of anger of senior one students is significantly higher than that of senior three students,the score of anger of senior two students is significantly higher than that of senior three students,the score of hostility of senior one students is significantly higher than that of senior two students and senior three students.Third,there is a significant positive correlation between parents’ psychological control and senior high school students’ aggressive behavior;There was no significant correlation between empathy and parental psychological control,aggressive behavior,there is a significant negative correlation between cognitive empathy and aggressive behavior,cognitive empathy and affective empathy are negatively correlated with the four dimensions of aggressive behavior.Fourth,empathy has a significant moderating effect between parents’ psychological control and high school students’ aggressive behavior.In the low level of empathy,the positive predictive effect of parental psychological control on aggressive behavior is significant,aggressive behavior will increase significantly with the increase of parents’ psychological control level.However,in the case of high empathy level,this positive predictive effect is no longer significant,aggressive behavior will not change significantly with the increase of parents’ psychological control level. |
