| With the blowout growth of the marathon, college students actively participate in the marathon volunteer ranks. The purpose of this article is to explore the influence of marathon volunteer participation motivation on behavioral intentions, using the literature method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, and logical analysis method. From the perspective of push-pull research, the paper focuses on Fuzhou and Xiamen 387 A survey of the participation motivation and behavior intention of the marathon volunteers was conducted.Collect volunteer survey data, use AMOS24.0 software, and use exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis methods to construct a structural equation model with volunteer participation motivation as the dependent variable, satisfaction as the intermediary variable, and behavioral intention as the result variable.Research hypotheses and verify them one by one.Based on quantitative research, based on the research results, combined with volunteer surveys and interviews,an in-depth analysis of the relationship between college student marathon volunteers ’motivation and behavioral intentions, and finally on the development of volunteer careers in colleges and universities,to cultivate the continued behavior of college volunteers to serve the society Improve the voluntary management of marathon events and propose corresponding optimization strategies. The main findings, conclusions and recommendations of the study are as follows:1 Research results1.1 The proportion of male and female students participating in the marathon volunteer service is relatively equal, but the number of college students participating in different grades varies greatly. The proportion of freshmen is the largest(more than 50%).It is the main force of the volunteer team.Declining trend.1.2 Senior students have the strongest motivation for participating in marathon volunteers, and junior students have the weakest motivation. The pull-factor variance P value of different grades is 0.039(<0.05).The difference is significant; The volunteer service is interested, and its variance P value is basically less than 0.05,which is significantly different.1.3 The thrust factors that affect the motivation of college volunteer participation in the marathon are mainly four characteristic factors—experience knowledge,self-realization,relaxation and value expression;the pull factor has three characteristic factors—incentives, development needs, and event environment.1.4 Participation motivation and behavior of college student marathon volunteers. The basic situation of different college student marathon volunteers has a significant impact on their motivation and behavior.1.5 The overall reliability and validity of the questionnaire on participation motivation and behavior of college student marathon volunteers is good.In the volunteers’ motivation and behavior structural equation model: CMIN / DF = 4.431,P<0.001;CFI = 0.843;IFI = 0.936;TLI = 0.914;CFI = 0.935;RMSEA = 0.094.The model has good fitting indicators and good structural validity. The choice of questionnaire indicators is suitable for studying the relationship between the motivation and behavior of college students’ marathon volunteers.1.6 In the participation motivation and behavior intention of college student marathon volunteers, there are significant differences in the four major variables of "motivational experience","self-realization","incentive induction",and "development needs" among male and female students.(Both sides)are less than 0.01,the difference is significant, and there is no significant difference between boys and girls in pull motivation(P> 0.01).2 Conclusion2.1 Based on the "push-pull" theory,it is partially supported that the basic conditions of different college volunteers have significant effects on their motivations and behaviors;the gender of college student marathon volunteers has a certain effect on their motivations, and the assumption is true;2.There is no significant difference in behavioral intention, and the assumption is not true.2.2 Different grades of college students have different motivations and intentions for participating in the marathon service.College students dedicate themselves and correct voluntary service intentions need further guidance.2.3 Different motivations of college student volunteers have different impacts on their behavioral intentions."Relaxation" is the most prominent factor in thrust motivation, and the factors in tension motivation are widely dispersed without significant impact factors.2.4 Under the "push-pull" theory, constructing a structural equation model of motivation and behavior can better explain the motivation behavior of college students serving marathons. There are direct and indirect paths between thrust and pull participation motivation, behavioral intention factors, and there is a positive impact significance.3 suggestionsAiming at the main problems existing in the behavior motivation and intention of college students participating in the marathon service, from the perspective of improving the management of college student volunteers, the following suggestions are made for improvement.3.1 The college marathon volunteer recruitment department should understand the motivation and characteristics of volunteer participation in volunteer services from the aspects of push and pull, strengthen the education and guidance of volunteer work attitudes and service methods, and comprehensively improve the quality of volunteer services.3.2 Volunteer service is the need for the development of social welfare.Relevant departments of the university should attach great importance to the cultivation of the feelings of college students to serve the society and dedicate to the society. In particular, they must strengthen the mobilization of junior students with “weak” motivation for participation.3.3 Relevant departments should increase the number of volunteer organizations that are officially registered for sports competitions, provide convenience for volunteers to serve legitimate interests after the event, serve more students, and cultivate their willingness to “re-engage” in voluntary services.3.4 The internet and news media should increase their attention to marathon volunteers.Publicity and publicity must not only focus on the contestants and the results of the marathon, but also actively promote the dedication of marathon volunteers.3.5 Improve the "satisfaction" of volunteers in humane care.Increase the budget and make dining as convenient as possible for volunteers. |
