With the development of medical technology and the intensification of population aging, although the number of rural semi-disabled elderly is increasing, the status quo of social support for rural semi-disabled elderly is not optimistic.Because most of the semi-disabled elderly in rural areas have not paid pensions, and most of their children are not working outside, this leads to insufficient material support, lack of behavioral support, and lack of emotional support for the elderly in rural semi-disabled villages. These problems are imminent. And helping the rural semi-disabled elderly to establish a complete social support system is an effective way to solve these problems.Social worker takes Granny L,a semi-disabled elderly in rural areas,as their service objects, based on social support theory and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory, using interview methods and participatory observation methods to collect various aspects of the client’s data, and analyze their material aspects,Housework and emotional needs to help clients establish a complete social support system from the four levels of individual, family, neighborhood and village,so that the client can live a happy old age. After evaluation, the case’s intervention in the social support of the semi-disabled elderly in rural areas has had a positive impact. Finally,I summarized and reflected on this case work, hoping to provide experience for future research on social support for the semi-disabled elderly in rural areas. |
