A country prospers when its youths thrive,and a country develops on his own when its youths are independent.Strengthening the cultivation of the socialist core values of college students is related to the process of the Chinese dream.With the accelerated development of artificial intelligence and big data,and under the guidance of national policies,our country’s mainstream media has successively opened the prelude to media convergence.Media convergence has achieved fundamental development,and the era of media convergence has arrived as promised.Compared with traditional media,new media,and self-media,media convergence plays an important role in cultivating qualified socialist builders and successors,mastering leadership in the ideological field,and enhancing the appeal of socialist core values.At present,media convergence has become an important field for the dissemination of ideas,cultures,and information in our country.It offers new methods for the cultivation that college students set up correct values,and plays an important role in enriching contents,innovating cultivated methods,and building cultivated platforms.However,it poses severe challenges to college students’ knowledge,emotion and action.There is an important problem that colleges generally face that how to play an active role and how to avoid the challenges which are led by media convergence’s fragmentation,entertainment,virtualization,and diversification.Under the background of media convergence,the cultivation of college students’ values is a complex and systemic work.It not only persists in the leadership of Marxism,but also promotes a high degree of integration between the cultivation process and media convergence,and conforms to the development trend of media convergence.At the same time,we must give full play to the joint efforts of the government,society,families,schools,and individuals,and optimize the cultivation environment from the social environment and campus public opinion environment through the use of media convergence;Start from the three aspects of enhancing the cultivating content of the times,science and persuasiveness Improve the content of cultivation;Start with innovative cultivation methods from the three aspects of emotional cultivation,practical cultivation,and three-dimensional education;Start with the construction of a campus integrated media platform,cultivate opinion leaders,and improve the evaluation and incentive mechanism to enrich the cultivation carrier.Implement measures through four aspects of environment,content,methods,and carriers,so as to enhance the synergy and effectiveness of cultivation,and better implement the basic requirements of "Three Holistic Education".
