Football course is a compulsory course for students majoring in physical education,and it is an elective course for other students majoring in physical education.On the other hand,with the development of campus football,the proportion of football courses in sports public elective courses is also higher and higher.Therefore,it is very important to improve the teaching effect of football course.But at present,many football teachers are still using traditional teaching methods,teachers simply instill,students passively accept,teaching effect is not good.A dynamic team sport can not reflect its appeal and spirit.The group cooperative teaching method emphasizes multilateral interaction,mutual cooperation,the establishment of equal teacher-student relationship and the creation of three-dimensional learning environment.In the classroom,students are the main part and teachers are the auxiliary part to stimulate students’ learning potential and improve learning efficiency.In order to solve the above problems,we try to use the group cooperation teaching method in the football general course,stimulate students’ learning potential,strengthen students’ team cooperation consciousness,improve students’ interest in football learning,teaching practice ability,football technology application ability,enhance physical quality,so as to improve the teaching effect.From the beginning of topic selection to the end of writing,the research methods of literature review,expert interview,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and experiment are used.Taking the group cooperative teaching method as the research object,two classes of grade 19 physical education in Guangzhou Institute of physical education were randomly selected for the experiment.After a semester(64class hours)teaching experiment,the following conclusions are drawn(1)After the experiment,the team cooperation ability of the experimental group and the control group was tested by t test.The results showed that the cooperation consciousness(P < 0.05),competition consciousness(P < 0.05)and group cohesion(P < 0.05)between the two groups.It shows that the use of group cooperation teaching method can enhance students’ sense of cooperation,competition and group cohesion,and improve students’ team cooperation ability.(2)After the experiment,the teaching practice ability of the experimental group and the control group were tested by t test.The results showed that the explanation and demonstration ability(P < 0.05),error correction and incentive ability(P < 0.05),organization and management ability(P < 0.05)between the two groups showed that the use of group cooperative teaching strengthened the students’ explanation and demonstration ability,error correction and incentive ability,organization and management ability The ability to improve problems has been improved,which promotes the development of students’ teaching practice ability.(3)After using the group cooperative teaching method,the passing success rate of the experimental group and the control group were 64.22% and 51.72%respectively;86% and 51.35% respectively;The success rate of dribbling was55.30% and 66.67% respectively;The success rate of shooting is 12.5% and 7.84%respectively,which shows that the students’ ability of technical application has been strengthened and their competition ability has been improved.(4)The application of group cooperation teaching method can activate the learning atmosphere,focus on students’ attention,stimulate students’ thirst for knowledge,arouse students’ interest in learning,promote students’ active learning,improve learning efficiency,speed up students’ mastery of football technology,and strengthen students’ physical quality in the process of active learning.
