Rope skipping is a traditional sport that originated in China.This sport is popular among the people.Synchronized skipping organically combines modern elements such as hip-hop and gymnastics,and has gradually developed into an innovative sports event.In order to effectively promote the development of sunshine sports activities,respond to the national call,and improve the physical fitness of students,figure skipping began to enter the campus.Because it is easy to carry out and is not subject to site restrictions,it is popular among students in primary schools.According to surveys,the figure skipping movement of the primary school in Huadu District of Guangzhou City is currently in its preliminary development stage.Therefore,based on the characteristics of the trick rope skipping project,this study adopted the methods of literature data,expert interviews,questionnaires,teaching experiments,field investigations,mathematical statistics,logic analysis,etc.An in-depth analysis of the current situation of rope skipping,summarizes the corresponding promotion countermeasures,and applies the trick skipping movement to the teaching of the primary school in Huadu District,Guangzhou,providing a solid and reliable theoretical basis for the comprehensive development of the figure skipping movement and promoting the development of Huadu in Guangzhou.The healthy development of the district elementary school’s synchronized rope skipping has a positive role to play.Through investigation and analysis,the conclusions of this study are as follows:1.The elementary school skipping rope movement in Huadu District,Guangzhou is in its preliminary stage of development.Due to its value and advantages,it is feasible to promote it in the elementary schools in Huadu District,Guangzhou City.2.Primary school physical education teachers in Huadu District,Guangzhou are young,with undergraduate level teachers as the main force,but there is a serious lack of professional talents in trick rope skipping.The teaching content in some schools is single,which is not conducive to the development of trick rope skipping.3.The teaching experiment shows that after the control group has completed 12 weeks of regular physical education,all physical fitness indicators have increased,but the increase is not large.The most significant improvement is the 1-minute rope skipping,followed by the cross Quadrant jump.The experimental group students have improved their physical fitness after completing the 12-week rope skipping course.The greatest improvement is core strength fitness 1 minute crunches,agility fitness cross quadrant jump,and endurance fitness 1 minute Jump rope and speed quality50 m run.4.The teaching experiment shows that after the experiment,the experimental group’s performance in sensitivity,strength and endurance is significantly higher than that of the control group;in the 50-meter run and standing long jump,the experimental group’s performance is also significantly higher than that of the control group.From the experimental results of sitting forward bending,it can be seen that synchronized rope skipping has no significant effect on the flexibility of students.5.Through the teaching experiment,it can be seen that the core strength,endurance and sensitivity of the abdomen of the students in the experimental group improved more after the experiment.After the experiment,the sensitivity,endurance,flexibility and other aspects of the control group improved more.Through the comparative analysis of the two groups,it can be seen that the experimental group has the highest increase in core strength and sensitivity.6.The main factors affecting the promotion and application of pattern skipping in primary schools in Huadu District,Guangzhou are: school leaders do not pay attention to pattern skipping;lack of financial support and reward mechanism;imperfect theoretical textbooks for pattern skipping;lack of professional training for physical education teachers;and some parents’ attitudes unclear.
