| Industry 4.0,characterized by the application of artificial intelligence technology,is increasingly becoming the main battlefield in the world to seize the commanding point of manufacturing industry development.China’s manufacturing industry is in the critical period of "intelligent transformation ".The employment effect of artificial intelligence application has caused extensive discussion.The existing research shows that artificial intelligence application has dual effect on employment,and how to avoid unemployment risk.Promoting employment growth is the goal pursued by all countries.Therefore,defining the type of artificial intelligence technology will provide a comparable scheme for enterprise technology selection and curb the unemployment crisis from the source.At the same time,export trade is one of the driving forces of China’s economic growth.The export performance of enterprises can provide financial support for the application of artificial intelligence technology in manufacturing industry and form a trend of circular accumulation and development.In this case,it is of practical significance to study the relationship between artificial intelligence application,export performance and employment growth.Specifically,the research content of this paper mainly includes the following three aspects:First,index measurement and current situation analysis.Drawing on previous studies,the application of artificial intelligence is defined as intelligent production,intelligent management and intelligent service,and the level of artificial intelligence application in Chinese manufacturing industry is measured by "Word2vec" machine learning method,and then the current situation of artificial intelligence application index is analyzed.Second,theoretical mechanism analysis.This paper theoretically analyzes the direct influence mechanism and indirect transmission mechanism of artificial intelligence application on manufacturing employment growth.Through the analysis,we can see that the creative effect of artificial intelligence application in manufacturing industry on low,medium and high skilled workers is dominant,and the comprehensive effect of employment shows a positive development trend.The export performance of manufacturing enterprises can enhance the employment effect of artificial intelligence,which is manifested in inhibiting the substitution effect of artificial intelligence application on low-skilled employment and releasing the creative effect of skilled employment.Third,empirical analysis.This paper empirically tests the impact of artificial intelligence applications on employment growth of different skills and different technology industries in manufacturing industry.The conclusion is as follows: the application of artificial intelligence will significantly increase the overall proportion of low and medium-skilled employment and reduce the overall proportion of high-skilled employment.At the same time,the study also found that the impact of different links of intelligent applications on employment is different;the application of artificial intelligence in high-tech industries will significantly increase the overall proportion of low and medium-skilled employment and reduce the proportion of high-skilled employment.The proportion of low-tech industries is significantly increased to low,medium and high-skilled employment. |
