With the development of well-rounded education and the reform of new curriculum,the view of student evaluation has also changed from the traditional evaluation of competition-based and selection to the evaluation of student development.Developmental evaluation,as a new evaluation concept,advocates student-oriented development and highlights the continuous and healthy development of student personality.With the advent of the Information Age,information technology courses in elementary and secondary schools are more and more universal.However,information technology education still follows the evaluation methods of the traditional disciplines,paying too much attention to the learning results and ignoring the evaluation of the learning process.To promote the development of students’ core literacy in information technology classroom,which based on the disciplinary characteristics of information technology,it is very necessary to build a wisdom classroom of "education and fun" and innovating the evaluation methods.The purpose of this research is to improve the effectiveness of evaluation of IT teaching in primary schools by using "digital badges" as a new evaluation technology,to explore and carry out the developmental evaluation of primary school information technology class which supported by digital badges.The research first conducted a literature research on the current situation at home and abroad on topics such as information technology course teaching,developmental evaluation,digital badges,and game-based learning.Through the analysis of the literature,we can learn that in China,research on the use of digital badges technology which to support the concept of developmental evaluation has insufficient of the classroom teaching evaluation,and there are few typical cases.Based on the problems which existing in the evaluation of information technology classroom teaching in primary schools,the study proposes a developmental evaluation rubric for information technology class in primary schools,and associates it with digital badges.Then,designed a correlation model between digital badges and evaluation rubric.On the based,a teaching model for the developmental evaluation of primary school information technology class which based on the "smart fish" digital badges evaluation by Digital Badges system was constructed.Finally,the study introduces the practice process and application effect of the teaching model for the developmental evaluation of primary school information technology classrooms which based on the "smart fish" digital badge evaluation system.After the test of teaching practice,the gauge correlation model of digital badges and developmental evaluation of primary school information technology classrooms,which can effectively solve the dilemma of developmental evaluations in classroom teaching.With the digital badge evaluation system,constructing a wisdom classroom with enjoyable,is conducive to comprehensive evaluation of students.The experimental results show that the teaching mode of the developmental evaluation of primary school information technology classrooms based on the "Wisdom Fish" digital badges evaluation system is helpful to improve students’ learning interest,initiative and performance.This research is a useful attempt to apply developmental evaluation to classroom teaching of IT in primary schools,and also provided a reference solution for the specific application mode of digital badge technology in information technology classroom teaching in primary schools.To a certain extent,this research has also promoted the application of game-based learning in information technology classroom teaching in elementary schools.It provides a new idea for the developmental evaluation model of primary school information technology classroom teaching. |
