The lives of university students are confronted with more complex interpersonal relationships,among which intimacy is one of the most important ones.Early childhood traumas(experiences)have a large and often negative impact on individuals’ satisfaction with intimate relationships in adulthood,and their specific mechanisms of action need to be further explored.People with narrative disorders often have difficulty identifying and expressing their emotions,and the ability to express emotions rationally is a very important ability in intimate relationships.In the intimate relationship,both parties will inevitably face many conflicts and dilemmas.In the face of these conflicts and dilemmas,the use of emotion regulation strategies has a direct impact on the satisfaction of intimate relationship.Based on a review of the literature,this study focuses on the mechanisms underlying the effects of emotion regulation strategies and narrative disorders on childhood trauma on intimacy satisfaction.The study used the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire,the Toronto Expression Disorder Scale and the Emotional Regulation Scale and the Relationship Satisfaction Questionnaire "The data collected were collated and analysed,and the following conclusions were drawn.(1)There are significant differences in family structure and place of origin of College Students’ childhood trauma;There were significant differences in expression inhibition strategies in four dimensions: gender,family structure,place of origin and educational background;Intimate relationship satisfaction has significant differences in five dimensions: gender,family structure,love experience,place of origin and education.(2)Childhood trauma is correlated with alexithymia,emotion regulation strategies(cognitive reappraisal and expression inhibition),and intimacy satisfaction.(3)Expression inhibition strategy plays a mediating role in childhood trauma and intimacy satisfaction.(4)Alexithymia regulates the mediating effect of expression inhibition strategies between childhood trauma and intimacy satisfaction.
