Most juvenile delinquency can be traced back to the improper parenting style of parents in early childhood,the family is the earliest contact with the social environment but also the earliest and most profound factors affecting the child's mental health.Emotional health is the core of mental health.Parents are the guide of children's emotional learning,especially mothers,mothers are the main bearer of early childhood education in the family,and parental self-efficacy is considered to be a powerful determinant of parents' participation in children's education.Therefore;this study is to understand the status of preschool mothers' parenting efficacy and emotional adjustment strategies and whether they are affected by demographic variables,and further explore the relationship between mother's rearing efficacy and types and early childhood emotional adjustment strategies.This study selected two kindergartens in Xi'an and Gansu(one in public and one in private)to investigate the possible correlation between parenting efficacy and emotional adjustment strategies,and put forward some feasible countermeasures and suggestions to provide educational support for mothers' self-efficacy.The results are as follows:(1)the scores of general and special upbringing efficiency of mothers are on the high side as a whole,and the general upbringing efficiency of mothers in different age classes is higher than that of special upbringing efficiency.From small class to large class mothers general sense of parenting efficacy also showed a declining trend.There are significant differences between the four types of upbringing efficacy in the two dimensions of general and special upbringing efficiency.(2)The parenting efficacy of early childhood mothers shows significant differences in mother age,number of children in the family,family socioeconomic status(SES).(3)The most used emotional adjustment strategies for children of all ages are alternative activity strategies.With the increase of age,the use of cognitive reconstruction strategies,problem solving strategies and self-comfort strategies gradually increases,while the use of venting strategies decreases.(4)There are differences in the development of emotional adjustment strategies among young children,and the trends of various strategies are different.There was no difference between the emotional regulation strategies of young children of different genders.The emotional adjustment strategies of young children showed differences in different mothers' education level.(5)There was a significant positive correlation between mothers' general upbringing efficacy and cognitive reconstruction strategies and alternative activity strategies,and there was a significant negative correlation with venting strategies,passive coping strategies and self-comforting strategies.There is a positive correlation between special upbringing efficacy and cognitive reconstruction and alternative activity strategies,but also a significant negative correlation with venting strategies,passive coping strategies and self-comfort strategies.(6)Children's use of cognitive reconstruction and venting strategies is mainly affected by the mother's special upbringing efficiency,the choice of passive coping and alternative activity strategies is mainly affected by the mother's general upbringing efficiency,and the mother's general upbringing efficiency and special upbringing efficiency have nothing to do with the child's choice of problem-solving and self-comfort strategies.(7)There were no significant differences in passive coping strategies,problem-solving strategies and self-comfort strategies,and significant differences in cognitive reconstruction,venting and alternative activities.Based on the research results and combined with relevant theories,this study puts forward feasible education suggestions:mastering scientific upbringing theory and combining with practice;setting an example by example and setting a good emotional learning example;strengthening communication and carrying out parent education through multiple channels.
