Early childhood is an important period for individual physical and mental development.The 《 Learning and Development Guide for Children Aged 3-6 》 formulated by the Ministry of Education clearly points out that self-supporting should be regarded as one of the important training goals for children.As the core aspect of self-supporting,mental self-supporting refers to the degree and level of individual adjustment of their own emotions and behaviors.The cultivation of children’s mental self-supporting is conducive to promoting individual personality and social development.This study will use attachment play to cultivate children’s mental self-supporting,aiming to investigate the intervention effect of attachment play through experimental study and case study.Study 1 is an experimental study.And parents of three middle classes in a kindergarten affiliated to a university were invited to fill out the 《 The Questionnaire of 3-6 Years Old Children’s Mental Selfsupporting—Self-control》.According to the score of the questionnaire,in ensuring that two groups of homogeneous(i.e.,including the level of mental self-supporting on the same level,etc.)and their parents under the premise of willing to participate in this study,24 children whose scores were lower than the average of the class were selected to form the experimental group and the control group respectively.Then the experimental group was given an 8-week attachment play intervention,and at the end of the intervention and two weeks after the end of the intervention,the participants were given a post-test and follow-up measurement using the questionnaire.Study 2 adopts the A-B baseline experiment design of single subject,selects four cases from middle class who are willing to participate in this study and whose scores are both lower than the average score of the class by teachers and parents,and conducts in-depth research on them by combining questionnaire method,interview method,observation method and insider’s report.The experiment was divided into three phases: baseline period,intervention period and follow-up period,and the corresponding time period of each phase was 1-4 weeks,5-12 weeks and 13-14 weeks,respectively.In the three period of every week according《The Observation Table of Mental Self-supporting—Self-control of Children in Middle Class》and insider’s report to evaluate the research subjects’ mental self-supporting levels.At the end of the intervention let the parents and teachers through questionnaire,mental self-supporting levels were assessed,at the end of the intervention of the last two weeks later,continue to use the questionnaire to measure,compared before and after the change.The results showed that:(1)The scores of the experimental group in the post-test and the follow-up period were significantly higher than those in the pre-test,and there was no significant difference between the scores of the post-test and the follow-up period;The post-test and follow-up scores of experimental group were significantly higher than those of control group.(2)After receiving the intervention,the mental selfsupporting level of all the cases was improved.The results show that the attachment play can promote the development of mental self-supporting level of middle class children.This program provides a certain program reference for children’s family education.
