Objective:to explore the effect of role play on children's daily self-supporting.Methods:the study assed 34 aged 6-7 children's daily self-supporting in a primary with 6-12 aged children's self-supporting scale--daily self-supporting subscale.Took the low 27%as the low group by ranking the whole scores from low to high,screened the 9 children in low group with WISC-IV(urban),excluded the intelligence factor's influence on the daily self-supporting,considered the insider reports and observation,selected out the 5 children as the typical cases.Single-subject research was used to intervene 5 children by role play.Study A-B baseline experimental design was used,role play as independent variables,the children's daily self-supporting levels as dependent variable,independent variable indicators included quantitative and qualitative data,quantitative data contained the children's scores in 6-12 aged children's self-supporting scale--daily self-supporting subscale and the scores in the self-made observation chart for boarding children's daily self-supporting;The qualitative report contains two parts:the insider's report and the investigator's observation.The experiment was divided into three stages:1.The baseline period(1st-4th week):to know the children's daily self-supporting baseline levels,the researcher observed the characteristics performance in daily self-supporting for four weeks and measured the children's daily self-supporting baseline levels by the scales and the reports.2.The intervention period(5th-12th week):after the childldren's behaviors were basically stable,the role play intervention program began,measured the children's daily self-supporting by the scales and reports.To know the persistent effect of the role play,remeasured the children's daily self-supporting by the scales and reports in the 6th week after the intervention.The 8th week after the introduce the intervention,after finished the intervention,scales were used to test the subjects to get the posttesting score.3.The follow-up period(13th-14th week):after two weeks,assessed the children's daily self-supporting by the scales and reports.The behavioral level of this stage was compared with the intervention period to know the status of the subjects' daily self-supporting behavior after the intervention stopped.Results:after 8-weeks role play intervention,the 5 children's daily self-supporting were higher than baseline levels according to the data based on the scales and reports,and which remained well in tracking period,the 5 children's daily self-supporting levels were increased.Conclusion:the role play games can improve children's daily self-supporting behaviors.
