| With the expansion of university enrollment and a declining quality of students,poor learning ability of students is also increasing,which leads to the growing numbers of students with learning difficulties.The characteristics for the engineering Students with learning difficulties as a special group,are the reasons’ diversity,complexity and hardness of solving,etc.In the process of intervention support,compared with the poor learning ability of students in liberal arts,the transformation of the engineering students with learning difficulties is more difficult,which brings negative influence on our personnel training quality,student growth and success.It has become a social problem which has caught a great attention from education researchers and social workers in recent years.From the perspective of empowerment theory,this paper completely analyses the causes of engineering students with learning difficulties and variable learning difficulties manifestations by using questionnaire,comparative analysis,interviews and observation with the engineering students with learning difficulties in X University T College as the research object.Further,through the study and investigations,we find that the reason for the engineering students with learning difficulties are mainly caused by students’ lack of self-cognition,disconnection of home school communication,and the absence of positive guidance from schools.Among them,students’ lack of self-cognition is the fundamental factor,disconnection of home school communication the promoting factor,and the absence of school positive guidance the direct factor.On this basis,we,using the perspective of energy enhancement and case practice research method,focused on the study of three students with learning difficulties in different learning stages,different origins and different family environment.After the implementation of the intervention plan,we makes an evaluation and summary for the three students.Through the study of three case studies,it is found that the application of energizing theory to the helping work of engineering students with difficulty in university can stimulate the endogenous motivation of students’ self-reform,which has a significant advantage over the traditional method.Finally,in view of the current common problems of engineering students with learning difficulties,it is proposed that four aspects should be mainly used to guide the engineering students with learning difficulties out of the state of learning difficulties: first,to enhance the students’ self-cognition,to awaken the students’ pursuit of life;Second,attach importance to the joint communication between home and school,and tighten students’ positive life consciousness;Third,strengthen the positive guidance of the school,shaping the wind clean atmosphere of learning;Fourth,we will introduce policies to help students with learning difficulties and improve the system.The research results of this paper have certain reference value for the study of social phenomenon of students with learning difficulties,and have positive reference significance for the help and support work of engineering students with learning difficulties in universities. |
