| College students as a special group of youth pay more attention to interpersonalcommunication, but in recent years, college students’ interpersonal barriers are increasinglyobvious. College students’ interpersonal communication is mostly developed on the basis ofstudying life, and its main forms are classmates, relationships between teachers and students,and family relationships. With the development of the times, college students’ communicationbecomes rich and more diversified with different content. The personality of college studentsis mature and stable, and they have formed their values and world view. They show a lot oftheir own unique views on many issues and they are usually perseverance and stubborn. Manyissues show their own unique point of view, and they usually characterized by a certainamount of perseverance. Characteristics of college students’ interpersonal communicationprovide favorable conditions for social work intervention. Therefore, with college students’interpersonal communication problems becoming increasingly serious, we should not justconfine the problem to the theoretical level, but to the actual action and make the interventionof social work support students’ interpersonal communication obstacles. This paper startsfrom the perspective of social work. In this paper, the author discusses how to combine thecase work and other professional social work method, so as to change students’ interpersonalcommunication obstacles. The empowerment theory is committed to help disadvantagedgroups, so as to change the weak position of disadvantaged groups. The empowerment theoryis based on the concept of right and tries to analyze the state from the level of individual,interpersonal, and social change. The empowerment theory pays more attention to thecultivation of ability of egotism, and regards the egotism as the main positive body. Therelationship between social workers and egotism is a kind of positive and equal partnership.Based on the empowerment theory as the instruction, this paper analyses the status of collegestudents’ interpersonal communication obstacles. The study finds that college students withinterpersonal barriers are in a state of serious and they do not have the right to life. This studytry to use the empowerment theory as the instruction, and take face to face counseling to help solve the problem of the interpersonal barriers in real life, so as to be able to solve theproblem of college students’ interpersonal barriers and provide helps for thinking. |
