| The Chinese nation has created a rich and colorful folk culture in five thousand years of history,and folk sports,as an important carrier of folk culture,profoundly reflects the relevant characteristics of the development of the Chinese nation from the aspects of history,culture,social life and so on.Kushui Town,Yongdeng County,Lanzhou City,Gansu Province,has a folk sports named "stilts",which is a unique folk representative.Its development process deeply reflects the historical culture and humanistic customs of Kushui,and contains the special feelings of the people of Kushui.It was selected as the first batch of national intangible cultural Heritage in 2006.By using the methods of literature,interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and field investigation,this paper starts with the characteristic development of Kushui stilts in Yongdeng County,and investigates and analyzes the characteristics of stilts in props,performance forms,music,artists’ make-up clothes,etc.,as well as the development of the stilts after they are selected into the intangible cultural heritage,This paper discusses the shortcomings and improvements of the development of Kushui stilts,hoping to do its part in promoting the further inheritance and development of folk activities in Yongdeng County.The conclusions are as follows Conclusion:1.Kushui stilts has a long history.In the folk custom project of Shehuo in Yongdeng County,Gansu Province,it has distinct personality and unique characteristics.It is the crystallization of the courage and wisdom of the working people in Kushui.2.The most outstanding feature of Kushui stilts is its height.The height of stilts can reach3-3.3 meters,and the height of actors can reach about 5 meters,which is the highest in China.When there is a social fire,the performers dress up according to the characters of Qinqiang opera,and form a long line.In the sound of Taiping drum,they are like gods coming down to earth,and the scene is spectacular and shocking.3.Kushui stilts has its own characteristics in its shape,clothing,characters,music,practice characteristics,inheritance methods and so on.Through in-depth excavation of these aspects,we can better show the unique features of Kushui stilts selected as the national intangible cultural heritage.4.Through the investigation of the basic situation of the development of Kushui stilts,it is found that the folk activities of Kushui stilts are mainly male,with different age distribution,basically in junior high school and senior high school.The purpose of participation is diverse,the funds for the activities are mainly raised by the villagers themselves,and the characteristics of the stilts are highly recognized.It is considered that there are obvious changes in the development of Kushui stilts after they are selected into the intangible cultural heritage,All these reflect the implementation of the national and local government policies on stilts and social fire customs.5.Although the development of Kushui stilts has made great progress after being selected into the national intangible cultural heritage,there are still many problems,such as the media publicity is flashy,the inheritors of Kushui stilts may have faults,the inheritance mode is single,the social fire activities are lack of funds,lack of innovation and so on.Suggestions:1.Give full play to the fast and wide spread characteristics of modern information society,and make full use of the emerging we media and other communication tools to strengthen the promotion,so as to make the Kushui stilts move to a larger and farther stage.2.Fully explore the cultural and project characteristics of Kushui stilts,continue to adhere to its characteristics,and strengthen the sense of identity and protection of folk culture.The introduction of local schools,on the basis of inheriting characteristics,high-quality training of the younger generation of inheritors.3.Fully mobilize the collective creativity in terms of stilt height,plot,character dressing,opening up and display,and inject new vitality into the development of stilts.With the approval of stilt heirs and folklore experts,we have made innovations in the plot and characters’ costumes.4.Give full play to its own economic value.It is suggested that the government should take the lead to hold more competitions and exchange meetings for folk custom events,set reasonable prizes for folk custom events,invent stilt model souvenirs and toys,increase opportunities for stilt external performances,and give preferential subsidies to the successors and performers of stilts,so as to provide reference for the development of folk custom in other regions. |
