The sudden COVID-19 outbreak has accelerated the wave of digital transformation of society.The promulgation and implementation of a series of policies such as the National "Education Informatization 2.0 Action Plan" and "China Education Modernization 2035" also indicate the development and transformation of educational informatization in China.With the development of China’s educational informatization is moving from integration to innovation,virtual experiment has become a vital part of innovation of classroom teaching as an important digital teaching resource.Because the quality of feedback directly affects students’experience of the learning process of virtual experiments,and then affects the learning effectiveness of students,it plays an important role in virtual experiment.Therefore,strengthening the feedback design research on virtual experiments and helping learners rely on the guidance and feedback provided by the system to carry out the effective autonomous learning without the guidance of people has important theoretical and practical significance.First of all,this research clarified the relationship between feedback,virtual experiment,inquiry based virtual experiment and other related concepts on the basis of referring a large number of related documents.And after comparing and analyzing the feedback research in the current virtual experiment platform,it was found that feedback has not gotten sufficient attention as the important part of the system.Aiming at the problems revealed in feedback design in virtual experiment,this research formulates an effective implementation strategy,and proposes the necessity and significance of constructing a feedback design model in inquiry based virtual experiment for middle school.Secondly,under the guidance of scaffolding theory,emotional design theory,multimedia learning cognitive theory and feedback models that promote learning,Bangert-drowned five-stage model and user experience models,exploring the process of constructing feedback design models in inquiry based virtual experiment,and choosing the "salt dissolution" experiment in junior high school science experiment to realize the feedback design of virtual experiment,the design of the specific feedback content is carried out around the four levels of the feedback model:the expression layer,the emotional layer,the behavior layer,and the evaluation layer.Finally,the virtual experiment is applied to middle school science experiment teaching,and the application effect of feedback in inquiry based virtual experiment teaching for middle school is obtained through the method of combining questionnaire survey and interview.The teaching application case is mainly analyzed from two aspects:quantitative and qualitative,and the results show that feedback can effectively promote the learning effectiveness of students in inquiry based virtual experiment,so that students have ability to learn how to think in the active construction of knowledge and independent inquiry.At the same time,the use of virtual experiments can also stimulate students’ interest in learning,help improve students’ participation in the classroom and so on.What’s more,with the help of guidance and feedback,it can enhance learners’ learning motivation and enable learners to acquire better experiences of psychology throughout the learning process so that students’ inquiry learning ability can be promoted a lot,and achieve the goals of teaching better.
