ornamental nature.Pearl ball sports has been widely carried out in the traditional ethnic minority sports meetings held at the provincial and municipal levels,and has become an indispensable interesting and wonderful competition project in the traditional ethnic minority sports games,which has been highly praised by the people.College physical education course is one of the most important components of the college curriculum system.The main goal is to improve physical literacy and obtain a healthy body.University physical education courses should not only enhance the healthy body of college students and cultivate the awareness of sports,but more importantly,train more excellent sports talents for the development of sports in China.The introduction of pearl ball in traditional sports into university sports classes is not only conducive to cultivating college students’ interest in traditional ethnic minority sports,but also understanding the national culture and national pride,which is conducive to the reform and progress of university physical education courses.This paper uses questionnaire survey method,literature data method and logic analysis method to explain the feasibility and necessity of pearl ball sports.In the process of our research and investigation,it is found that it is very necessary to carry out the pearl ball sports in the universities in Pingdingshan city,and the necessity is mainly manifested in:Characteristics of pearl ball sports itself: pearl ball sports requirements for field and equipment are not high,simple and easy to understand,easy to start,people of all ages can try to start in colleges and universities;pearl ball game has high ornamental,and handball and basketball,play is relatively simple,small field,equipment is simple,can be in the street,lawn,sports field,with high practicability.2.Promoting the development of physical education teaching in colleges and universities.We should draw on the excellent sports culture of all countries in the world and develop our Chinese characteristics.The introduction of pearl ball into physical education courses in colleges and universities enriches the curriculum and course selection content,which is conducive to cultivating students ’interest,broadening students’ horizon,and makes college teachers play their self-innovation ability to teach physical education in a new form and new content.In a word,the introduction of pearl ball sports in colleges and universities will promote the progress of physical education courses.Promoted the direct popularization and development of pearl ball in college students: the popularization and development of pearl ball in universities not only cultivate the spiritual quality of college students,improve the physical quality of college students,make the sports cultural life of college students more colorful,but also broaden the interpersonal communication between students.Through the national traditional movement.The continuous development of social economy gives people the opportunity to pay attention to our traditional movements.Even if our living environment changes,our lifestyle will change quietly,and the inheritance of national traditional movements will not give up.We want to keep the traditional projects with ornamental excavation value,not their dust.Ethnic minorities across the country gather together every four years to jointly hold the traditional ethnic games,when they gather together.People are no stranger to the traditional national movements.2.The reform of physical education curriculum for the pearl ball sports in the university provides the favorable platform: now college students physical quality decline,and sports foundation is very weak,healthy body is the basis of learning,this problem has become the main problem of colleges and universities,high intensity of learning and time compression limits the development of sports in colleges and universities.The scientific,systematic and standardized development of pearl ball sports in the university physical education course not only enriches the relevant curriculum and improves each process,but also cultivates the students’ national spirit in the future teaching work.3.The superior economic conditions of Pingdingshan city provide a good material foundation for Pingdingshan
