With the rapid development of science and technology,STEM ideas are having a profound impact on education.STEM originated in the United States.With its interdisciplinary and comprehensive characteristics,STEM education has become an important concept to cultivate future talents.At present,all countries in the world are actively developing STEM education.In the 13 th Five-Year Plan of Education Informatization in China,it is clearly stated that China should actively explore STEM education at the present stage.Currently,STEM education has become an important part of China’s education reform and development.STEM education concept is gradually applied in primary and secondary school classrooms,which puts forward higher requirements for teachers’ ability level.As practitioners of STEM education,teachers’ STEM education ability has a direct impact on the effect of STEM education activities.Currently,the shortage of STEM teachers and inadequate ability has attracted extensive attention from scholars.Normal university education is the main way to train future teachers.Developing the STEM education ability of normal university students at this stage is conducive to fundamentally improving the problem of STEM teachers,enhancing the core competitiveness of normal university students and promoting the professional development of teachers.Based on this,this research uses the literature research method,content analysis method and investigation research methods to explore how to cultivate the STEM education ability.First,the research status at home and abroad through literature analysis,clarify the relevant concepts and theoretical basis.Second,the relevant S T and foreign home E M teachers ability standard,analyze the common elements,and then the relevant journals and master paper coding processing,analysis and extract STEM education ability core elements,the two combined with preliminary construction STEM education ability framework,then based on the expert survey method framework revision and improvement.Finally,according to the normal students STEM education ability framework design and issuing questionnaire,interview,investigate the current situation of STEM education ability,and according to the research results put forward some feasible training strategy,for the future domestic normal universities STEM education activities,add normal students STEM training program or curriculum design to provide certain reference.
