With the arrival of the epidemic and the development of "5G" technology,online courses have become an indispensable learning method of students,and students have also achieved the popularity of mobile media.The influence of new media in people’s lives is also growing,and people have more convenient access to information.The new media era also puts forward new requirements for students’ self-learning ability.Students are the main body of learning.The traditional cramming education model is no longer suitable for the current online generation.New media-assisted teaching should be the main direction of education development.Therefore,this paper uses the method of combining theory with practice to understand the current situation of poetry teaching through questionnaires,analyze the reasons and try to put forward feasible strategies for new media to assist poetry reading teaching.The aim is to update teachers’ educational ideas and means in poetry reading teaching,and to maximize the preview effect before class,maximize the classroom efficiency and diversify the evaluation after class through new media-assisted teaching,so as to achieve the teaching objectives of improving the teaching effect of poetry reading,improving the teaching quality of poetry and enhancing the comprehensive quality of students.This paper mainly expounds from the following aspects:The introduction part analyzes the reasons for choosing the topic and the research status quo,and points out the research significance,research ideas and research methods of this topic.The first chapter mainly defines the concepts of "new media","bilibili" and "poetry reading teaching",points out the composition of learning resources of bilibili,analyzes the presentation of poetry in Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry,and points out the theoretical basis for bilibili to assist junior high school Chinese poetry reading teaching.The second chapter investigates students’ attitude towards learning poetry,students’ understanding and use of new media and beery,advantages and disadvantages of beery-assisted teaching,students’ attitude towards differences between new media information and teachers’ explanations,etc.,and makes attribution analysis.The third chapter sorts out four strategies to assist junior high school Chinese poetry reading teaching according to the analysis results of the second chapter: first,to improve teachers’ new media quality structure;second,to strengthen students’ media literacy;Third,the new media of preview before class,classroom process and after-class evaluation;fourth,to form all-round and multi-angle education resultant force by strengthening supervision from all walks of life.Finally,taking Mulan Poem as an example,the application case design is put forward.
