Entering a new era,it is finally the best time to "tell the Chinese story through martial arts".As a physical culture,Chinese martial arts are three main ways of transmission:technical inheritance,physical interpretation and cultural transmission,as well as a form of physical narrative.As a unique form of narrative,Chinese martial arts based on physical skills is a typical form of physical narrative expression.The study of the body narrative of Chinese martial arts should start from the direction of its subject and object.On the one hand,the inheritance of traditional techniques is the main body of Chinese martial arts as body narrative,which continues to play a role in the original thinking and cultural patterns in Chinese martial arts;on the other hand,the physical writing of Chinese culture is the object of Chinese martial arts as body narrative,which carries the responsibility of spreading Chinese culture "through martial arts as a medium".As a product of the development of Chinese culture and physical behavior,Chinese martial arts is also an attempt to break free from the evolution of the body from a technical to an artistic and cultural dimension.Therefore,the body in Chinese martial arts has the attributes of both essential skill and art,and at the same time contains a strong Chinese culture,which is a multifaceted composite body integrating technical body,artistic body and symbolic body.The body narrative can be accomplished through an "experiential" body practice or through a "visual" body art interpretation activity,in which the martial arts practitioner’s martial arts body behavior and martial arts body art are transmitted.It is both a "symbolic" presentation of the Chinese martial arts cultural body and an interpretation of the Chinese martial arts physical behavior metaphor.The thesis takes Chinese martial arts as the research object,takes body narrative as the entry point,intends to take martial arts routines,martial arts performances,and martial arts culture as the main research scope,and uses case study method,expert interview method,participatory experience method,functional analysis and other research methods to examine the characteristics of Chinese martial arts body narrative from different dimensions,so as to reveal the body narrative as the Chinese martial arts narrative to tell the "Chinese story" well.The study also examines the characteristics of Chinese martial arts body narratives from different dimensions,thus revealing the multiple value functions of body narratives as Chinese martial arts narratives to tell "Chinese stories" well.This study consists of three parts: the introduction,the body,and the conclusion,with four points in the body.The introductory section introduces the Chinese martial arts and the origin of the study.First,the object and scope of the study are defined and explained.Secondly,the connotation of the concept of "body narrative",which is the core theory of the study,is identified and clarified.On this basis,we review the relevant domestic and international literature and analyze and sort out the current situation of domestic and international research on body narratives in Chinese martial arts.The first part,"The technical dimension of body narratives in Chinese martial arts",starts from the technical dimension of body narratives and analyzes the technical prototypes of body narratives in martial arts,including the mutual transformation of "visible" and "invisible" in body appearances,and the mutual transformation of body images.The technical archetypes of martial arts body narratives are analyzed from the technical dimension of body narratives,including the mutual transformation of "visible" and "invisible" in body appearance,the binary cognition of "confrontation" and "non-confrontation" in body image,the statute of technology on the body as the "due meaning" of mastery ",the body’s transcendence of technique is expressed in the virtue and cultivation of "point to point",the "truth-seeking" of body narrative in technique and the pursuit of "more skillful" wushu body narrative.The technical realm of "more skillful" martial arts body narratives.Finally,the technical direction of wushu body narrative is derived.Secondly,"The Artistic Dimension of Chinese Wushu Body Narratives",this section focuses on the artistic dimension of wushu body narratives,and based on the analysis of the artistic theory of "the same source of wushu and dance",it is argued that from the "practical The artistic archetype of martial arts body narrative from " practical " to " artistic " includes the way of generating " body as beauty " from body to art,the expression form of writing with" martial arts ",the relationship between body and art of " still beauty " and the relationship between martial arts body and art."
