| China’s economy has entered a new normal,with more flexible and diverse employment development.Great changes have taken place in employment opportunities and the employment situation,overturning the traditional employment model and placing greater emphasis on the quality of employment.At present,the scale of informal economy and informal employment is expanding rapidly.Informal workers account for more than half of urban employment.Among them,migrant workers who occupy the low-end labor market have become the main body of informal employment.The quality of informal employment of migrant workers is not only related to their quality of life and working conditions,but also affects their sense of social integration in the city.Improving the employment quality of migrant workers in informal employment is of great theoretical and practical significance for promoting urban integration of migrant workers,social harmony and stability,implementing rural revitalization strategy and realizing common prosperity.Firstly,this paper constructs the quality evaluation index system of migrant workers’ informal employment.Secondly,through the questionnaire survey,the employment quality index of informal employment of migrant workers in 16 cities in Shandong province is studied and measured,and the regional differences of informal employment quality level of migrant workers in Shandong province are analyzed.Finally,according to the individual characteristics of migrant workers,human capital,social capital and natural capital,the paper discusses the factors influencing the quality of migrant workers’ informal employment,and explores the realistic path to improve the quality of migrant workers’ informal employment.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Construct an indicator system to measure the quality level of informal employment of migrant workers.In this study,the Delphi method is used to clarify the measurement index of foundation of migrant workers employment quality and AHP analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and entropy weight method is used to weight the 18 indicators under the evaluation of five dimensions of "career and job security," "health and welfare","work and life of harmony",and finally determine the measure of the quality level of migrant workers employment and informal employment quality index Evaluation model of.(2)The measurement and regional differences of informal employment quality of migrant workers in Shandong Province.The results show that the quality level of the informal employment of migrant workers in Shandong province is generally low,and the informal employment of migrant workers is at the low end of the labor market,and their employment treatment is fluctuating and unstable.According to the results of systematic cluster analysis and Theil index,the differences in the quality of informal employment of migrant workers in Shandong Province are mainly reflected in the differences in the eastern,central and western regions.The fluctuation of informal employment quality of migrant workers in Shandong province is relatively small in the three regions.(3)Analysis of influencing factors on the quality of informal employment of migrant workers.The results show that the individual’s sex,age,marital status,educational level,fixed number of year of the non-agricultural work,health,non-agricultural work time,control of labor skills,the development level of employment and employment areas in the field of geographical location have significant positive correlation with the quality standard of the informal employment,and relatives and friends in the workplace and the distance of the workplace has a significant negative correlation,the quality level of formal employment.Based on the main research conclusions,the countermeasures and suggestions of this paper are as follows :(1)Promote vocational skills training;(2)Building efficient and integrated labor markets;(3)Strengthen the implementation of the social security system;(4)Expand and optimize new space for employment development of rural migrant workers through multiple channels.Informal employment is a kind of flexible and reasonable employment choice for migrant workers.Under the requirements of "high-quality development",we should refine and expand the research on the employment quality of migrant workers,explore the practical path to achieve high-quality employment of migrant workers,and guide migrant workers to improve the quality of various types of employment,including informal employment,in order to better and faster achieve the policy goal of coordinated development between urban and rural areas and bring the well-being of people’s livelihood to a new level. |
