Children are the flowers of the motherland and the hope and future of the nation.Their health directly affects the progress of the whole society.Having a strong physique and good physical quality is the concentrated embodiment of the vigorous vitality of the Chinese nation.In recent years,the physical health level of primary and middle school students in China has decreased year by year,and their obesity rate and myopia rate have increased year by year.Therefore,all sectors of society should pay more attention to the physical health of children and adolescents.Children aged 9-12 are in a critical stage of growth and development,and their physiological and psychological indicators will develop rapidly.Taking the impact of badminton training on the health,physical fitness and physical self-esteem of children aged 9-12 as the research object,this paper selects 20 children aged 9-12 from Harbin excellent badminton club and a primary school in Harbin as the experimental object.The former is the experimental group and the latter is the control group.Using the research methods of literature,experiment,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis,the experimental group takes badminton as the intervention method,The students in the control group participated in physical exercise freely in school,and deeply analyzed the specific intervention effect of badminton training on the health physical fitness and physical self-esteem of children aged 9-12,so as to provide reference for improving their health physical fitness and physical self-esteem and promoting the sustainable development of their physical and mental health.The results show that:(1)in terms of height,weight and body composition,the height of boys and girls in the experimental group has changed,and the height of boys has changed very significantly(P < 0.01);The weight index of male and female students increased significantly,and there was a very significant difference(P < 0.01);There was significant difference in body mass index compared with that before the experiment(P <0.05);The body fat rate decreased and there was a significant difference compared with that before the experiment(P < 0.05);After the experiment,the waist and hip of boys and girls were improved compared with those before the experiment,and there were significant differences.The height of boys in the control group was significantly different from that before the experiment,and the weight of girls in the control group was significantly different after the experiment(P < 0.01);Compared with the control group,there was no significant difference in the degree of correlation between the experimental group and the control group.(2)In terms of cardiopulmonary endurance,the step test indexes of boys and girls were improved after the experiment,and there were significant differences compared with those before the experiment(P < 0.05);The results of 50 m X8 turn back run were significantly improved compared with those before the experiment.There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).Although the indexes related to cardiopulmonary endurance of students in the control group have changed compared with those before the experiment,the data analysis shows that there is no significant difference between before and after the experiment.(3)In terms of flexibility,the sitting forward flexion performance of 9-12-year-old children was improved to varying degrees after training.Among them,the flexibility of girls is better than that of boys.(4)In terms of muscle fitness,the muscle strength and muscle endurance of male and female students in the experimental group were significantly enhanced compared with those before the experiment,while the improvement effect of muscle fitness of students in the control group was not obvious.(5)In terms of physical self-esteem,the relevant indicators of the students in the experimental group were improved to varying degrees.Among them,the four dimensions of physical attractiveness,motor skills,appearance and speed of boys after the experiment were significantly different from those before the experiment(P < 0.01),and the physical activity,flexibility,coordination and physical value of girls after the experiment were significantly different from those before the experiment(P < 0.01)There were significant differences in endurance and overall self-esteem compared with those before the experiment(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the test scores of the control group after the experiment compared with that before the experiment.
