Objective: the purpose of this study is to study of badminton on children's health and fitness,basic metabolism and energy consumption index,reveals the changes of badminton on all aspects of children's physical,so as to provide reference and provide a theoretical basis for the formulation of exercise prescription for children to participate in sports.Methods: 60 children in Xiamen egret badminton training institution were divided into 4groups.The experimental group was treated with two hours of shuttlecock twice a week for 4months.The control group(10 male)and the control group 10(female)did not carry out special exercise intervention and normal physical activity.Before and after the intervention,the healthy physical fitness of the children in each group was measured.The data collected were analyzed by Microsoft Office Excel and SpSS19.0 software.Results: after intervention,the vital capacity(VV)index of control group and experimental group was 1694 ±56.85 vs 1934 ±74.35(p < 0.01)for boy and 1425 ±56.42 vs 1767 ±64.75(p <0.05)for girl;Step test index of control group and experimental group was 48.42 ±1.56 vs 52.45±1.46(p < 0.05)for boy and 47.96 ±1.45 VS 49.75 ±1.56(p < 0.05)for girl;Heart rate index(HRI)of control group and experimental group was 90.13 ±15.68 vs 91.21 ±13.58(p > 0.05)for boy and 89.98 ±12.56 vs 90.05 ±15.31(p> 0.05)for girl.Muscle fitness: after intervention,the grip strength index of control group and experimental group was 16.24 ±1.24 vs 19.58 ±1.35(p < 0.01)for boy and16.39 ±1.56 vs 17.34 ±1.44(p < 0.05)for girl;the distance index of throwing badminton of control group and experimental group was3.57 ±1.45 vs 3.98 ±1.24(p < 0.05)for boy and 3.90 ±1.59 vs 4.22 ±1.36(p < 0.05)for girl.p;Sit-up index(N / min)control group and experimental group was 32.89 ±1.23 vs 36.56±1.45(p < 0.05)for boy and 35.32 ±1.45 vs 37.34 ±1.34(p < 0.05)for girl.The distance index of standing long jump of control group and experimental group was 1.53 ±0.24 vs 1.60 ±0.53(p <0.01)for boy and1.59 ±0.59 vs 1.60 ±0.24(p > 0.05)for girl.Flexibility and fitness: after experimental intervention,the flexibility quality index of control group and experimental group was 5.98 ±0.97 vs 8.05 ±1.10(p< 0.05)for boy and 7.89 ±1.03 vs11.04 ±0.98(p < 0.05)for girl.Body composition: the height index(CM)after intervention of control group and experimental group was 142.65 ±1.96 vs 143.45 ±2.34(p > 0.05)for boy and145.36 ±2.24 vs 147.21±2.36(p > 0.05)for girl;body mass index(KG)of control group and experimental group was36.36 ±1.56 vs 35.36 ±2.31(p > 0.05)for boy and 39.56 ±1.85 vs 39.63 ±2.45(p > 0.05)for girl;muscle volume index(KG)of control group and experimental group was 22.01 ±1.21 vs 22.89±1.54(p > 0.05)for boy and18.10 ±1.56 vs 21.36 ±1.85(p < 0.05)for girl;fat volume index(KG)of control group and experimental group was 8.96 ±1.45 vs 5.96 ±1.45(p < 0.05)for boy and11.23 ±2.02 vs 9.23 ±1.56(p < 0.05)for girl;percentage index of body fat of control group and experimental group was 24.89 ±1.75 vs 17.14 ±1.62(p < 0.05)for boy and 27.21 ±1.89 vs 23.61±1.25(p < 0.05)for girl.Basal metabolism: after experimental intervention,the basal metabolism index(Kcal)of control group and experimental group was 1142 ±23.12 vs 1253 ±25.75(p < 0.05)for boy and1087 ±21.52 vs 1203 ±15.42(p < 0.05)for girl.Energy expenditure: energy expenditure index(Kcal)of experimental group was 38.58 ±1.42 vs 80.12 ±1.34(p < 0.01)for boy and 32.56 ±1.22 vs 76.35 ±1.12(p < 0.01)for girl.Conclusion:After four months of badminton training,male and female students' fitness,basic metabolism and energy consumption index of badminton class have changed adaptively.The specific conditions are as follows:(1)4 months badminton training can promote the improvement of aerobic fitness index of children.(2)4 months of badminton training can improve muscle fitness of male and female students by varying degrees(3)4 months badminton training is beneficial to the improvement of flexibility and flexibility of children,while the control group decreases with age.(4)4 months badminton training can promote the improvement of muscle and fat content in children's body composition.(5)4 months badminton training can improve basic metabolism of male and female students.(6)4 months badminton can increase children's physical activity and consumption.
