The rapid development of information technology has had a profound impact on education.The basis of the emergence and development of information technology is mathematics,and the development of information technology in turn enables the development of the field of mathematics.Information technology and mathematics interact and depend on each other,and the development of information technology closely affects the progress of mathematics courses.Information-based teaching provides more convenient,intuitive and efficient teaching tools for mathematics and geometry teaching,making the teaching process more vivid.Geo Gebra software is one of the more mature tools.Through geometry learning,junior high school students should gradually establish logical thinking,divergent thinking and intuitive thinking,and improve their abstract thinking ability and spatial imagination ability through learning.The dynamic,intuitive and easy-to-operate features of Geo Gebra software are conducive to promoting students’ in-depth understanding of graphics and geometry knowledge,helping students to construct thinking,and improving the effect of geometry teaching.Based on cognitive load theory,constructivist learning theory,audio-visual teaching theory,and the theory of "deep integration" of information technology and education,this research investigates the application status of Geo Gebra in junior high school mathematics classrooms;and then combines Geo Gebra software with existing teaching Resource integration,exploring the application of Geo Gebra in junior high school geometry teaching through experiments,and using SPSS for statistical analysis of experimental data.The research process and methods are as follows : First,the current situation of junior high school geometry teaching was investigated: Through reading literature,Geo Gebra was investigated in junior high school classrooms.Then,through interviews with teachers and students,to explore the application of Geo Gebra in junior high school geometry teaching,and then to explore the application effect of Geo Gebra in geometry teaching through experimental research.For the students of the class,the teaching content is the first three units of the eighth-grade mathematics edition of the People’s Education Edition,and the teaching content is the knowledge of graphics and geometry.Among them,the teaching of the experimental group was assisted by Geo Gebra,while the control group was taught conventionally.The conclusion was obtained by statistical analysis of the data of the pre-test and post-test of the experiment.This study is based on two different aspects of theory and practice to verify the positive impact of Geo Gebra-assisted teaching on junior high school geometry teaching.Geo Gebra assists geometry teaching,which can improve the teaching mode and improve the teaching efficiency;it also stimulates students’ geometric learning potential and improves students’ learning effect in many ways.Geo Gebra is worthy of vigorous promotion and application in the field of junior high school geometry teaching.
