| Children are the light of the nation and the future of the country.For a unified multi-ethnic country,the healthy growth of children in ethnic minority areas is related to the stable development of the locality and the future of the country.The education of children in ethnic minority areas is affected by various factors such as local economic development and traditional culture,and is inherently complicated.However,left-behind children in ethnic areas face a more severe education situation due to incomplete family structure and insufficient parental companionship.As a profession that helps others to help themselves,social work has many advantages in solving the education problems of left-behind children,such as professional methods,organizational resources,and human resources.So it is significant to promote the development of family education for left-behind children in rural areas,by taking advantage of the professional advantages of social work,which can also help to promote the development of children’s education in ethnic areas.This study uses data collection,interviews and other methods to investigate the family education status of left-behind children in G Village,a Hui village next to L County,Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture,Gansu Province.Analyze the problems and their causes,and learn from society.Guided by social learning theory,formulate intervention strategies,adopt group work methods,and provide targeted services for left-behind children and their parents/guardians whose parents go out to work.Through the follow-up survey,social worker self-evaluation and team member self-evaluation,we can draw the conclusion that the team work has got good results.Then analyzes the effectiveness and shortcomings.Finally,we make some suggestions for improvement. |
