The seriousness of the problem of children left behind in rural areas has caused widespread concern in society.To varying degrees,the government,social organizations,enterprises and individuals have made efforts to improve and solve the problems of left-behind children in rural areas.I took part in “the summer camp growth group of left-behind rural children” in Y Town,Laixi,for my internship.Therefore,we would like to pay more attention to explore the rural children left behind.First of all,by studying scholars 'data and frontier information on left-behind children in rural areas,we understand the current situation of the children left behind in rural areas in China in recent years,and determine the theory used in the study.From the resilience perspective,it helps children establish a positive mentality,enhance their ability to resist setbacks and improve their ability to cope with difficulties.Secondly,during the actual service process,we observe and interview the children and parents of the group members,understand the basic conditions and needs of the clients,formulate the service goals,adopt the professional social worker concept and working methods to serve the clients and their families,and constantly optimize the service content and match the real needs of the clients so as to achieve the improvement of the clients 'shortage and promote their growth.Finally,it carries on the professional reflection on the service process,evaluates the changes of the main participants(social workers,clients,guardians,etc.),and analyses the reasons for whether the service reached the group's goal,reflects on the shortcomings of the research,puts forward suggestions for improving the service,and puts forward relevant countermeasures for improving the children left behind in rural areas from the government and society.This paper aims to demonstrate that children constantly improve themselves and promote children's healthy growth through studying the growth group of children left behind in rural areas.And provide some practical materials for the social work of the rural children left behind.We will contribute to building a prosperous,prosperous,democratic,civilized and harmonious socialist modern country.
