Research On Media Dependence Of Young People On Douyin

This article takes the "Media System Dependence Theory" proposed by American communication scientists Paul Rockich and De Fowler as the research framework.The deep phenomenon and main reason of dependence are explored and answered.Youth,as the vanguard of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,are inseparable from the sustained prosperity and development of the nation and the prosperity of the country.With the advent of the mobile Internet era,short videos represented by Douyin have become one of the most popular leisure and entertainment methods for young people.Sound has become an inseparable one,"you have me,I have you",and gradually developed into a "relational chimera" with strong stickiness.It can be said that the youth group is not only inseparable from Douyin,but also develops a kind of "dependency"-spending a lot of time and energy indulging in the use of Douyin,decreased attention,indifference of interpersonal communication,etc.Users have a dual dependence on Douyin both psychologically and behaviorally.Therefore,this research hopes to propose solutions to the common media dependence phenomenon on Douyin represented by youth groups,and provide reasonable guidance to improve the youth group.Positive media literacy.This paper is mainly divided into four parts.The first part mainly explains why the youth groups are dependent on the media.Through the interviews and investigations of the respondents,it is concluded that the current youth groups are dependent on the media.-Reliance performance is in-depth,so that the analysis is reasonable and well-founded;in the second part,through in-depth analysis of the reasons for the youth group’s dependence on the media,it is concluded that the reasons for the youth group’s media dependence on Douyin are multi-faceted,both at the individual level-for Satisfaction of psychological and identity needs,filling of spiritual emptiness,and "coercion" of comfort zone are closely related to the technicality,convenience,and virtuality of media.The third part summarizes and analyzes the negative effects of young people’s dependence on Douyin from the subject level and interpersonal social level,and points out that indulging in the virtual world will eventually lead to the alienation between subjectivity and social interpersonal;At the media ecological environment level,more feasible solutions are proposed.On the one hand,young people should play a leading role,improve their thinking ability,not be coerced by "tool convenience",and get rid of psychological and behavioral dependence;on the other hand,Douyin platform As a media enterprise,it should shoulder a sense of social responsibility,use technology and guidance measures to better promote the rational use of users,and promote the good dissemination of the platform.
