Research On The Intervention Of Case Social Work In Psychological Assistance Services For Vagrants And Beggars ——Taking The Case Of Z In D City Relief Management Station As An Example

The development of China’s rescue system has been very fruitful in practice.At present,the assistance provided to vagrants and beggars has been able to ensure that they receive livelihood assistance in relief stations,but there is still a shortfall in meeting their psychological needs.2021’s "14th Five-Year Plan" for the development of civil affairs has given the latest instructions to strengthen the purchase of social assistance services by government departments and provide resource links,psychological adjustment and social integration services for people in need.This means that psychological assistance is being given more attention than ever before.Based on this,this paper attempts to explore the feasibility of social work in providing psychological assistance services in the relief management.By understanding the basic situation of the D city rescue management station,the psychological problems of vagrants and beggars and the current situation of corresponding psychological assistance,and analyze the feasibility of social work intervention in solving the psychological problems of vagrants and beggars;Carry out social work practice intervention with the help of typical case Z to help vagrants and beggars solve psychological problems and reintegrate into normal social life;by summarising the experience in the process of case service,reflecting on Through summing up the experience of the case service,reflecting on the shortcomings and making suggestions to the relief management stations from the perspective of social work to deal with the psychological problems of vagrants and beggars,in order to enhance the multiple objectives of relief management.It is important for improving local social work theory,relieving the plight of vagrants and beggars themselves,helping the government’s vagrant and beggar rescue work,and building a harmonious socialist society.This paper uses literature,interview and observation methods to collect information,adopts the social work method of case intervention,and carries out the practice of psychological assistance under the guidance of theories such as enrichment theory and social support theory.Based on the collection of a large amount of information and practice,the information was collated and processed,and the process and effects of the practice were assessed and summarised with the help of data analysis methods of qualitative research.The study found that the importance of psychological assistance in the rescue and management of vagrants and beggars needs to be highlighted in the rescue and management of vagrants and beggars;that social support networks are effective in addressing the psychological problems of vagrants and beggars;and that the intervention of casework social work in the psychological assistance services of vagrants and beggars is practical and feasible.At the same time,in the course of practice,it was also found that there are problems in the rescue stations,such as the traditional rescue emphasises management rather than service,and the professionalism of social workers is constrained by government units;the coordination of the competent departments is not strong,and there is a lack of cooperation between the various resources linked to social workers;there is a lack of manpower and professional training for social workers in the stations,and the efficiency of psychological rescue services is low.In this regard,suggestions are put forward to improve the concept and working mode of rescue services and bring into play the professionalism of social workers;to establish a multi-linkage mechanism and widely mobilize the cooperation of social forces;to enrich the team of psychological rescue talents and improve the efficiency of psychological rescue services.
