With the increasing use of smartphones,Mobile games have become the fastest growing and most successful product in the world.Firm A,China’s largest gaming company with the world’s highest operational revenue,has a huge number of new products in a wide range of categories.The difficulties of new products selection,include insufficient attribute identification and prediction capability,as well as incompatibility with corporate strategies and resources,all have an impact on the firm’s efficiency.The discovery and prediction of the product attribute combinations is a hot and demanding study topic in the new product selection.The number of combinations grows exponentially with the number of attribute qualities.The attribute combination is an NP-hard issue with challenging analysis.Current research frequently focuses on independent attributes or a small number of attribute combinations.It’s difficult to match the bulk of mobile game makers’ demands for new product variety.Therefore,this paper proposes a GM-RST model based on rough sets and including seasonal linear regression and grey panel data clustering evaluation model and is utilized for decision analysis of new mobile game product selection.This paper also provide management recommendations for Company A’s new product selection by analyzing the problems and reasons in the new products of Company A within the empirical data calculation findings.The findings show that enterprises can choose and make decisions on new products based on differences and changes in the importance of future and current attributes combination,differences in important attributes combination under different evaluation indicators,and different importance levels of attributes combination,in order to achieve various corporate goals and configure them rationally,on the state of enterprise resources limitation,and to improve new product performance.The GM-RST model can not only detect and forcast the future relevance of product attribute combinations,but also pick assessment indicators flexibly based on the market,company goals,and resource constraints,according to this paper’s findings.It can discover many significant product atrribute combination based on a variety of business demands,and it may help mobile gaming firms make decisions about new product selection.
