As the sub-health problem becomes more and more serious, the healthy development of the people is paid special attention to,especially the healthy development of children.Children are not only in the primary stage of motor development, but also in the primary stage of physical development.Research shows that 3-6 years old is the key stage of children’s gross motor development, and scientific exercise of gross motor at this stage can enhance children’s better spatial cognitive form and social adaptability. The development of swimming learning is carried out in the water environment, and the development of gross movements in the healthy development of children needs to be further explored. Therefore, this study adopted swimming as an intervention method to investigate the influence of swimming on the gross motor development of 3-6 year old children and analyze the potential influencing factors,so as to provide data support for the health promotion of swimming learning and reference for the development and promotion of swimming in children. Methods: This study mainly summarized the domestic and foreign literature on children’s motor development through literature review, sorted out the relevant data, summarized the specific effects of the scale, and then designed the overall experimental process and intervention content by means of expert interview, and analyzed the data before and after the test by mathematical statistics. Results :(1)There were significant differences in movement ability and object control ability between the control group and the experimental group in the three aspects of gross motor development(p < 0.01),and significant differences in postural control ability(p <0.05).(2)There were significant differences in movement ability, object control ability and posture control ability between the control group and the experimental group at 3-4,4-5 and 5-6 years old(P < 0.01).(3)From the interaction of gender and age, swimming had significant differences in movement ability, object control ability and posture control ability of male children(P < 0.01),and there were no statistical differences in movement ability of straight running and sliding step;In the object control ability test, there was no statistical difference in catching the ball with two hands, rolling the ball with low hands and dribbling the ball in place. There were significant differences between the two items in the test results of posture control ability(P < 0.01).There were significant differences in locomotion ability, object control ability and posture control ability of female infants(P< 0.01),and there were no statistical differences in locomotion ability between standing jump and sideslip step.In the object control ability test, there was no statistical difference in low hand rolling ball, kicking ball and dribbling ball in place. There were significant differences between the two items in the test results of posture control ability(P < 0.01).Conclusion :(1)Swimming intervention can effectively improve children’s gross motor development, mobility, object control and balance, and balance is the most significant, mobility is better than object control.(2)Swimming intervention has a positive effect on the improvement of gross motor development level of 3-6 years old children. The effect of movement ability of 3-4 years old female children is better than that of male children, the effect of object control ability is worse than that of male children, and the effect of object control ability of 4-5 years old and 5-6 years old children is obviously improved, and the object control skill of male children is better than that of female children. The improvement of mobility skills of female infants is better than that of male infants.
