| Kindergarten to primary school is a transformation of children’s life.Appropriate school preparation is not only a guarantee for children to successfully pass the transition from kindergarten to childhood,but also has an important impact on their academic development.In this study,students in class X of primary school B were selected as the research objects,according to their entrance knowledge skills and learning quality,the entrance preparation can be divided into four type:good admission knowledge and skills,strong learning quality;good admission knowledge and skills,poor learning quality;poor admission knowledge and skills,good learning quality;poor admission knowledge and skills,poor learning quality.Through the analysis of their academic performance in grades 1-5,to understand the impact of school preparation on school readiness.Through questionnaires and interviews,we can understand parents’ perceptions and actions on school readiness,and explore the reasons that affect students’ school readiness.After analyzing the research content,the following conclusions are drawn:1.Looking at the development of academic performance of primary school students in grades 1-5,the influence of learning quality on students’ academic performance is higher than that of knowledge and skills..Among the 4 types of students with different school readiness types:After the third grade,students with good learning quality and good admission knowledge and skills have better academic performance than students with good learning quality and poor admission knowledge and skills,Secondly,students with poor learning quality and good admission knowledge and skills,poor learning quality has the worst academic performance when admission knowledge and skills are poor.2.Parents’ perceptions and actions on school readiness affect students’ school readiness when they enter elementary school condition.3.And starting from the third grade,students’ knowledge and skills have less and less effect on their academic achievement,but the impact of students’ learning quality on academic performance has become more and more obvious.4.Parents recognize the importance of school readiness,however,there are problems in actual practice: emphasis on knowledge and skills and less on learning quality. |
