Feasibility Study On Offering Swimming Related Courses In Xi’an Physical Education University

Swimming related events are water sports developed from swimming,including synchronized swimming,water aerobics,water polo,water life-saving and so on.At present,there is a contradiction between the development of swimming programs in domestic sports colleges and universities and the development of swimming related programs.However,due to the lack of professional swimming programs in domestic sports colleges and universities,there is a gradual contradiction between the development of swimming programs and swimming related programs.The establishment of swimming related courses is an innovation and development for the swimming curriculum system in Colleges and universities,and it is also an important way to cultivate swimming related professionals.Swimming related projects have gradually developed in the field of sports,and most students also show a strong love for some swimming related projects.The interest and competitiveness of swimming related projects attract more and more people to participate.With the continuous development of the field of sports,Xi’an Physical Education University can timely set up new sports according to the needs of social development,meet the daily teaching reform of the school and transport sports professionals to the society at the same time.This paper takes the feasibility of swimming related courses in Xi’an Physical Education University as the research object,and adopts the methods of literature,interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and logical analysis.The feasibility study on the development of swimming related project courses in Xi’an Physical Education University is carried out,and the following conclusions are obtained:1.Water aerobics,water life-saving,water polo,synchronized swimming and other swimming related projects have different basic requirements for swimming.Among them,water aerobics has low requirements for swimming level,rapid development and a wide range of participants.2.The establishment of swimming related events can bring a certain positive impact on the teaching effect,sports team and employment situation of physical education colleges and universities.3.Through the necessity analysis,it is necessary to set up swimming related courses in sports colleges and universities,which will have a positive impact on the development of individual students,school sports,social sports and international sports.4.Through the feasibility analysis,Xi’an Physical Education University has the conditions for setting up swimming related courses.Most swimming teachers have the ability to teach water aerobics and water life-saving,and have rich experience.Therefore,it is feasible to set up water aerobics and water life-saving courses.Due to the difficulty of water polo and synchronized swimming,and the teachers of Xi’an Physical Education University do not have rich practical experience and teaching experience,it is sufficient to expand the knowledge of water polo and synchronized swimming to students.5.Most of the teachers and students of Xi’an Physical Education University agree with the opening of swimming related projects.Through reasonable evaluation,they believe that water aerobics and water life-saving can be used as the teaching content of swimming related projects in Colleges and universities.Water aerobics is offered to all students in the college,and water life-saving is offered as an elective course to students of physical education colleges and sports training colleges with the foundation of swimming.6.Teachers and students of Xi’an Physical Education University tend to carry out swimming related courses in the form of elective courses,32 class hours,inquiry teaching methods and diversified evaluation methods.
