Research On The Status Quo And Problems Of Youth Baseball And Softball Competitions In Shaanxi Province

With the resumption of the Olympic Games in baseball and softball,baseball and softball has developed rapidly in China in recent years,especially in Beijing,Shanghai,Tianjin,Jiangsu and other places.Shaanxi Province took the opportunity of the 14 th National Games in Shaanxi,and the youth baseball and softball events have also developed rapidly,but there is still a big gap with the above-mentioned areas.In order to promote the development of youth baseball and softball in Shaanxi Province in a healthy and orderly manner.This thesis adopts the method of literature materials,expert interviews,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics to take the youth baseball and softball events currently carried out in Shaanxi Province as the research object.A comprehensive analysis of the scale,competition level,event setting,organization and management,competition results,participants of Shaanxi youth baseball and softball events,and the main problems and factors in Shaanxi youth baseball and softball events are carried out.The promotion of provincial youth baseball and softball events puts forward corresponding countermeasures.Through the research,it is concluded that:（1）Shaanxi youth baseball and softball competitions include championships,traditional sports school baseball and softball leagues,and Xi’an youth baseball and softball championships.These three competitions have reasonable group settings and competition methods,but some The eligibility for the competition has certain limitations on the age limit;（2）Shaanxi youth baseball and softball events are small in scale,with few games,and regional development is unbalanced;（3）Shaanxi youth baseball and softball events are organized by Shaanxi Provincial Sports Bureau or Xi’an Sports Organized by the Bureau,the event belongs to the government management system,the event funding channel is single,and there is a lack of social enterprise sponsorship;（4）The number of youth baseball and softball coaches in Shaanxi Province is small,the coaching level is insufficient,the coaches lack professional training and learning,and the coaches are paid low;（5）)The lack of ground facilities and unreasonable layout of baseball and softball fields is one of the important reasons that hinder the development of youth baseball and softball events in Shaanxi Province.（6）The publicity and promotion of youth baseball and softball events in Shaanxi Province is insufficient.
