Objective: To investigate the intervention effects of table tennis exercise and table tennis combined with resistance exercise on glucose and lipid metabolism,body morphology,and cardiac function in a prediabetic population.Methods: A total of 30 pre-diabetic people were screened in this experiment and signed informed consent forms in strict accordance with the regulations,and randomly divided into group A(control group),group B(table tennis group),and group C(table tennis combined with resistance exercise group),with 10 people in each group.group A did not perform any specific activity,group B performed table tennis exercise,and group C performed table tennis combined with resistance exercise.The total length of the intervention was 12 weeks.The subjects were tested before and after the intervention for various indicators of blood glucose,lipids,body shape and cardiac function,and the changes were compared using SPSS 23.0 for statistical processing.Results:(1)Changes in blood glucose indexes: intra-group comparison: there were no significant differences in the indexes before and after the experiment in group A(P>0.05);FBG,FINs,HOMA-IR and Hb Al C were significantly lower in groups B and C after the experiment compared with those before the experiment(P<0.01);inter-group comparison:after the experiment,there were highly significant differences in FBG,FINs,HOMA-IR and Hb Al C in group B compared with group A(P<0.05),and in group C compared with group A(P<0.05).There were significant differences between groups: after the experiment,there were significant differences in FBG,FINs,Hb Al C and Hb Al C in group B compared with group A(P<0.05),and there were highly significant differences in FINs,Hb Al C,FINs and HOMA-IR in group C compared with group A(P<0.01);there were significant differences in FINs,Hb Al C,FINs and HOMA-IR in group C compared with group B(P<0.05).(2)Changes in blood lipid indexes: intra-group comparison: there was no significant difference in the indexes before and after the experiment in group A(P>0.05);TC,TG,LDL-C and CETP were significantly lower(P<0.01)and HDL-C was significantly higher(P<0.01)in groups B and C compared with those before the experiment;inter-group comparison: after the experiment,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C and CETP were significantly higher(P<0.01)in group B compared with group A.-C,LDL-C and CETP were significantly different in group B compared with group A(P<0.05);TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C and CETP were very significantly different in group C compared with group A(P<0.01);TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C and CETP were significantly different in group C compared with group B(P<0.05).(3)Body morphology indicators:intra-group comparison: there was no significant difference in the indicators before and after the experiment in group A(P>0.05);weight decreased significantly in group B(P<0.05)and BMI also decreased significantly after the experiment(P<0.01),and weight,waist-hip ratio and BMI decreased significantly in group C(P<0.01);inter-group comparison: there was a significant difference in BMI in group C compared with group A after the experiment There was a significant difference in BMI between group C and group A after the experiment(P<0.05);there was a significant difference in BMI between group C and group B(P<0.05).(4)Changes in cardiac function indexes: within-group comparison: there was no significant difference in the indexes before and after the experiment in group A(P>0.05);after the experiment in group B,SV and LVET increased significantly compared with those before the experiment(P<0.01),CI also increased significantly(P<0.05),HR,PEP and PEP/LVET decreased significantly(P<0.01);after the experiment in group C,SV,CO,CI and LVET increased significantly compared with those before the experiment(P<0.01).CI,and LVET increased significantly(P<0.01)and HR,PEP,and PEP/LVET decreased significantly(P<0.01)compared with those before the experiment in group C.Comparison between groups:after the experiment,there were significant differences(P<0.05)in SV and PEP and very significant differences(P<0.01)in CO and PEP/LVET in group B compared with group A.In group C compared with group A,there were There were significant differences in LVET(P<0.05)and very significant differences in SV,CO,CI,PEP and PEP/LVET;and in Group C compared to Group B,there were significant differences in SV,CO and PEP(P<0.05).Conclusion: 12 weeks of table tennis and table tennis combined with resistance exercise can reduce blood glucose and lipid levels,effectively improve glucose and lipid metabolism,and effectively improve body shape and cardiac function in pre-diabetic people,and table tennis combined with resistance exercise is more effective in improving glucose and lipid metabolism as well as body shape and cardiac function in pre-diabetic people than single table tennis exercise.
