Objective:to observe the variation of the renal interstitial fibrosis of diabetic rats,and explore the mechanism of action about the aerobic and resistance exercise to the renal interstitial fibrosis of diabetic rats.Methods: healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into control groups and model groups,feeding respectively in normal and high sugar,high fat feeding.The rats on model groups feeding with high sugar,high fat feeding were disposable intraperitoneal injected 1% cephalosporins(STZ)solution.After building module,the model groups were randomly divided into the control groups with diabetes(group D),aerobic exercise groups with diabetes(group DA),resistance exercise groups with diabetes(group DR),and the control groups were randomly divided into blank control groups(group C),pure aerobic exercise groups(group CA),pure resistance exercise groups(group CR).Group CA and DA completed 8 weeks treadmill training,CR and DR group completed 8 weeks with gym training,group C and group D didn't exercise,then the rat body weight,blood glucose,blood insulin and insulin resistance index(HOMA-IRI),blood lipid,urea nitrogen,creatinine were determined,HE staining and MASSON staining were observed about each renal interstitial fibrosis in rats and Western Blot were used to detect the expression of TGF-?1,Collagen ?,Collagen ?,MMP-1 and TIMP-1.Results: 72.2% of the normal Sprague-Dawley rats were induced to replicate type ? diabetes mellitus in seven weeks with a high sugar-fat diet and a one-time intraperitoneal injection of STZ solution.Compared with healthy rats,the weight of rats and the blood insulin in diabetes control group decreased obviously,the blood glucose,HOMA – IRI,blood lipid,serum creatinine and urea nitrogen indexes increased outstandingly(P<0.05),and the protein expression of Collagen ?,Collagen ?,TGF-beta 1 and TIMP-1 increased apparently and the extracellular matrix hyperplasia on structure and abnormal changes of interstitial fibers being thicker.Eight weeks aerobic exercise or resistance exercise could increase the weight of the rats and the blood insulin of the rats,reduce the blood sugar,HOMA – IRI,serum creatinine and urea nitrogen and other related indicators.HE staining and MASSON staining of kidney results showed that eight weeks aerobic exercise or resistance exercise could reduce the extracellular matrix hyperplasia of diabetic rats and interstitial fibers being thicker and improve glomerular volume contraction.Eight weeks aerobic exercise or resistance exercise could both inhibit the expression of Collagen I,Collagen ?,TGF-?1,TIMP-1 protein and promote the expression of MMP 1 protein of diabetic rats.Conclusion:Eight weeks aerobic exercise or resistance exercise could both improve blood sugar and lipid metabolism disorders caused by diabetes.Resistance exercise was better in lessening the blood sugar and perfecting the insulin resistance effect,while aerobic exercise was better in decreasing the hematic fat,blood creatinine and urea nitrogen effect.Eight weeks aerobic exercise or resistance exercise could reduce the degree of renal interstitial fibrosis in diabetic rats to a certain extent,but the mechanism was different.Aerobic exercise exert its function of protection mainly through raising MMP 1,cutting the protein expression of TIMP-1,while the resistance exercise mainly through cutting TGF-?1,Co llagen ?,Collagen ?.
