Study On Group Work Intervention Of Elderly People’s Life Adaptation In "Beach Area Relocation" ——A Case Study Of L Community In Henan Province

With the overall victory of China’s poverty alleviation project,as an important project to solve the living difficulties of people in ecologically poor areas,the relocation policy of poverty alleviation has given great support to poor areas,and also made the academic circles pay attention to the development of relocated areas.However,relevant studies mainly focus on the macro level relocation mechanism,and lack the intervention research on the life adaptation of the relocated groups.Therefore,we should not only pay attention to how to do well the relevant relocation work in the early stage to ensure the benefits and efficiency of mass relocation,but also give full consideration to the problems of life adaptation and social integration of some groups in the new environment after relocation,so as to promote the better implementation of policies and achieve the ultimate development goal of relocation.Taking the relocation site of L community beach area in Henan Province as the research site,this paper understands the current situation of life adaptation of this group through household interview and observation in the early stage.Based on the empowerment theory,group dynamics and ecosystem theory,based on the demand analysis of the life adaptation of the relocated elderly in the beach area,and using the intervention method of group work,a group activity with the theme of the life adaptation improvement group of the elderly in L community is designed and implemented,from the individual level-the cultivation of the elderly’s self-confidence and life adaptation,the interpersonal level-the learning and interaction process of the elderly’s interpersonal field,Community level-the cultivation of the elderly’s ability to adapt to the life situation,three levels to explore the life adaptation difficulties and coping practice of the relocated elderly in the beach area,so as to meet the emotional counseling needs of the relocated elderly in the beach area,enhance interpersonal communication needs,increase community participation needs and enrich recreational activities,so as to better help the elderly in the beach area adapt to and integrate into the new life after relocation.The result evaluation after group activities shows that: 1.The elderly in the group began to gradually change their mentality,release their bad emotions through talking,and establish their self-confidence to adapt to the new life.2.Through the construction of mutual assistance support network,the interpersonal relationship of service objects has been improved.3.Actively participate in community relocation activities and actively participate in community relocation activities.Finally,based on the research reflection and discussion,it is concluded that the value concept of helping people and self-help through social work,group work intervention methods and professional skills can help the service objects effectively solve the life adaptation problems after relocation to a certain extent,hoping to provide corresponding practical suggestions for the service and development of life adaptation of the elderly in the relocated community.The deficiency of the research is that the continuity and effectiveness of the intervention effect are insufficient,and further research is needed.
