The 14 th five year plan puts forward the goal of building a "sports power".Under this background,China’s sports industry has ushered in new opportunities and challenges. In recent years, the sport of Taekwondo has developed in full swing in China. Its competitive events have a good self-defense function. Its character project is the integration of strength and beauty. It is loved by the majority of teenagers and college students and has a good mass foundation. The vigorous development of Taekwondo can promote the realization of the goal of "sports power" in China.Colleges and universities, especially sports colleges and universities, are important bases for the development of Taekwondo. Now major colleges and universities have opened Taekwondo elective courses. However, due to the different physical quality, taekwondo foundation and psychological state of college students who choose Taekwondo elective courses,it is difficult for the conventional teaching method to take into account the individual needs and differences of each student, resulting in poor teaching effect,Let students lose interest in Taekwondo. The implementation of the layered teaching method of "teaching students according to their aptitude according to different people" respects the individual differences of students, and creates a teaching method suitable for their own development for students. The application of the layered teaching method in Taekwondo elective classes in physical education colleges and universities in China may effectively improve students’ Taekwondo technology and interest and promote the development of Taekwondo,It also makes a modest contribution to realizing the goal of "sports power".Therefore, this study adopts the teaching experiment method, questionnaire survey method, literature method, comparative analysis method, mathematical statistics and other methods, and takes the 2020 social sports guidance and management students of Guangzhou Institute of physical education as the experimental object for three months. The experimental class uses the hierarchical teaching method and the control class uses the conventional teaching method,By comparing the data of the two classes before and after the experiment, the effects of the two teaching methods on students’ physical quality,Takedown technology,as well as students’ interest, motivation and cooperative friendship in Takedown elective course are compared. The research conclusion shows that;1.The layered teaching method has little effect on the improvement of students’ general physical quality, but it has a good effect on the improvement of special physical quality related to Takedown.2.The layered teaching method has little difference in the promotion of simple Takedown technical movements compared with the conventional teaching method, but it has a significant effect on the promotion of complex Takedown technical movements.3.The layered teaching method has greatly improved students’ interest,motivation,self-confidence and sense of cooperation in learning Takedown.Based on the above conclusions, the application of layered teaching method in Takedown elective classes in physical education colleges and universities has a good teaching effect. It can comprehensively and improve the Takedown performance of all students and increase students’ interest and confidence in learning Takedown.Takedown elective classes in major colleges and universities can safely apply layered teaching method in the classroom,At the same time, this study also provides reference for the application of layered teaching method to other sports.
