Ores must be crushed,ground and graded before they enter the separation to achieve the dissociation of the target mineral from the gangue mineral.The optimization of the grinding classification system has important research significance and application worth.Based on the theory of ore wet sifting,this paper develops a new type which is the 2TZS900×1800 underwater vibrating screen and discusses related theories.The vibrating screen was used to replace the two-stage grinding grading system and the prospect of application is goodThe main units of new 2TZS900×1800 underwater vibrating screen included sieve surface,screen frame,feed pipe,vibration motor,product discharge tank of vibrating mechanism screen,rubber cushion and hopper.When the ore pulp was evenly fed to the screen surface from the upper part of the screen by a feeder,the finer-grained particles moved through the first layer of the sieve toward the second layer of sieve surface while the coarse-grained particles are discharged from the sieve surface to the grit hopper.The material under the sieve is fed into the subsequent sorting operation through the hopper.Combine the products on the second screen with the products on the first screen and return to the mill for further grinding.The new 2TZS900×1800 underwater vibrating screen has an amplitude of 4?5mm,a vibration frequency of 1000 minutes/time,a mounting inclination of 10°,a vibration direction angle of 45°,and a screen box size of 900 mm×1800 mm.The upper mesh size is 0.5 mm and the lower mesh size is 0.2 mm.The sieve is stainless steel slit sieve.Laboratory experiments show that after optimizing the grain size distribution of selected ores,the tin concentrate grade is 6.53%,which is 0.32 percentage points higher than that on site.The recovery rate was 79.21%,which is 2.4 percentage points higher than that on site.The grade of copper concentrate obtained by closed circuit test in laboratory is 17.27%,1.04 percentage points higher than that on site,and the recovery rate is 78.19%,5.71 percentage points higher than that on site.The classification efficiency of a 600t/d mill grinding grading system of Yun Xi group in Ka Fang town is 20%?50%,and the over crushing is serious.Fine-grained minerals produced by over crushing cannot enter tin concentrate products leading to the low tin recovery.After the new 2TZS900×1800 underwater vibrating screen was used to reform grading system of the concentrating mill,the content of-0.045 mm in the primary and secondary grinding classification system was reduced by 20.42% and20.55% respectively,the pulverization is obviously reduced,The grading quality efficiency of the grinding grading system reached 54.58%,26.76% higher than that of the first stage of the original process which is 27.80% and 5.01% higher than that of the second stage which is 49.55%.In summary,the new 2TZS900×1800 underwater vibrating screen technology has good performance which can significantly improve the classification efficiency,reduce over-grinding,optimize the ore particle size composition,and achieve narrow-grain distribution.
