Copper oxide-gold ore has been an important source of copper and gold as a precious metal.The deposits are always associated with limonite and clay minerals formed in the mineralization period,resulting in the formation of a large amount of secondary slime during crushing and grinding processes.In addition,as a common harmful element in the copper-gold oxide mine,arsenic poses a serious influence on the metallurgical result of concentrate products and pollutes the surrounding environment.The efficient recycling of high-slime and high-arsenic copper-gold oxide ore,with the rapid deletion of the simple occurrence state and fusible mineral resources,has attracted increasing attention.This paper focuses on the Kangding copper-gold oxide mine as the research object to carry out the detailed process exploration and experimental research,where the characteristics of high-slime and high-arsenic in the copper-gold oxide ore are considered.The main valuable elements in the ore include copper,gold and silver,the assaying contents of which are 0.46% Cu,1.40 g/t Au and 55.20 g/t Ag,respectively.Copper mainly exists in the form of free copper oxide,gold in the form of natural gold and wrapped gold,and silver in the form of independent minerals.The main gangue minerals are quartz,(sericite)muscovite,dolomite,feldspar and easily sludge minerals limonite,chlorite and kaolinite,etc.The content of the harmful element,As,is up to 0.48%.After grinding,the ore is seriously slimed and the gold's occupancy rate of-0.02 mm reaches 54.04%.On the basis of process mineralogy research,the process of “no desliming – goldcopper sequential priority flotation” was determined by the principle process exploration tests.In addition,water glass was used as a dispersant to realize the allslime flotation of gold and copper;LTS as a self-developed organic arsenic depressor was used to realize the high-efficiency arsenic removal of gold concentrate and copper concentrate products;sodium sulfide + ammonium sulfate as an activator was to realize the high-efficiency enrichment of copper.Moreover,condition tests were conducted to determine other process parameters and the agent system in the flotation.The closed-circuit process tests presented a gold concentrate assaying of 84.86 g/t Au at 74.57% recovery,3114.07 g/t Ag at 52.92% recovery and 6.03% Cu,together with a copper concentrate assaying of 35.49% Cu at recovery and 12.31 g/t Au.The contents of harmful elements as in the gold concentrate and copper concentrate are all less than 0.1%,indicating that the efficient enrichment and recovery of valuable elements were realized.
