The manufacturing industry reflects the country's productivity level,and CNC tools are more expensive consumable industrial products in modern machinery manufacturing.Traditional tool management has problems such as chaotic tool information,error-prone tool data input,difficult tool life management,and poor tool versatility.RFID(Radio Frequency Identification)radio frequency automatic identification technology provides a new scientific method for modern production management.Combining with the status quo of tool management of Beijing Xinfeng Aerospace Equipment Co.,Ltd.,this project has carried out the design of tool information collection and management system based on radio frequency identification.By embedding the RFID chip in the tool holder,the tool information is automated from tool setting equipment to CNC machine tools.Transfer,which solves the problem of tool management well,and avoids production accidents caused by manual operation errors.In addition,it reduces the downtime in CNC machining and improves production efficiency.The main work content of this article includes:(1)Analyzed the current situation and automatic identification technology of domestic and foreign tool management systems,and designed a tool information collection and management system based on radio frequency identification using a combination of framework design,software development and application verification.(2)The selection and design of the RFID hardware system have been completed,and a set of tool coding rules have been designed to ensure the uniqueness of the tool code and facilitate the automatic identification and management of the tool.(3)Develop the tool information collection and management system of the tool setting instrument based on the C/S architecture.Use digital image processing technology to process the image of the tool setter,select the region of interest(ROI)from the collected tool setter interface image,then perform threshold segmentation,then perform character segmentation,and finally use the template matching algorithm to identify the picture numbers.Realize the automatic recognition function of tool setting instrument data.The communication between the tool setting instrument and the RFID reader is completed through the RS232 serial port,including functions such as collecting tool setting results,adding tool types,writing tool data to tags,querying tool writing records,and user management.(4)Based on the MVP architecture to develop a handheld device tool information collection and management system,communicate between CNC machine tools and RFID reading devices through RS232 serial ports and USB interfaces,including automatic reading,tool list editing,login authentication,tool file export,User management and other functions.(5)The tool information collection and management system was tested and operated in the tool setting room and machining workshop of Beijing Xinfeng Aerospace Equipment Co.,Ltd.for 3 months.During the period of use,the number of parts processed in the machining workshop increased by 12.3%,which significantly improved the processing efficiency.,And put an end to manual operation errors and other problems.
