Research On The Application Of Kunqu Costume Elements In Modern Costume Design

Since the second half of the 20th century,under the influence of the development of globalization,fashion design has gradually begun to develop toward the globalization of clothing.At the same time,the national style of clothing has gradually been accepted by the world fashion stage.Therefore,the design of national style of clothing has also begun to show a trend of globalization."Chinese style" has also gradually been recognized and recognized by the world,which has changed the thinking and practice of domestic and foreign designers for design.Until today,"Chinese style" design has developed into a kind of national fashion design prevailing in the field of fashion at home and abroad.Chinese traditional opera has experienced thousands of years of historical precipitation,integration of the rich history and cultural essence of the Chinese nation,is an important source of inspiration for many designers at home and abroad to create "Chinese style" clothing design;Among the traditional Chinese operas,Kunqu Opera has the greatest influence and the earliest developed and mature opera is the best among the traditional Chinese operas,which is known as the "mother of Chinese operas".The most important and obvious form of external expression in Kunqu art is the Kunqu costume,which gathers the essence of Chinese traditional culture,and each element of which contains a strong cultural connotation.As for the application of Kunqu costume elements in modern costume design,the combination of these two art forms deeply shows the extraordinary charm from Chinese traditional culture.This paper takes Kunqu costume as the research object,briefly describes the generation and development process of Kunqu costume,as well as the overall characteristics of Kunqu costume,analyzes its internal element composition,and explores the application of Kunqu costume elements in modern costume design from three aspects of style outline,color and decorative pattern.This paper integrates the aesthetic charm contained in kunqu costume with the style,color and fabric of modern fashion,further discusses the development direction of the application of kunqu costume elements in modern costume design,and tries to expand the thinking for the combination of traditional culture and modern costume design.
