Research On The Application Of Bamboo In The Design Of Public Toilets

Public toilets as one of the essential parts of urban,rural and scenic areas,play an important role.It has an important impact on the development of scenic spots,cities and rural areas.In our country "toilet revolution" under the unceasing development,the development scale unceasingly expands,the quality request unceasingly increases.The design and construction of public toilets have been taken seriously.However,at present,there are still some problems:the lack of attention to local regional culture and building environment,the lack of full use of local natural resources,the use of building materials do not pay attention to energy conservation and environmental protection,do not take the road of eco-friendly sustainable development.At present,bamboo is widely used in the design of architectural environment,because bamboo not only has cultural characteristics,but also is an environmentally friendly building material.Therefore,bamboo as a traditional architectural decoration material is increasingly used in modern architectural design,because the use and expression of bamboo form and space is not only the return of the essence,but also the continuous innovation of modern technology.The main content of this research is the decorative application of bamboo in the design of public toilets.On the basis of the research and analysis of the fine characteristics of bamboo,the regional characteristics of guangxi resources bajiao zhai scenic spot and ethnic elements,the decorative application of bamboo elements in the display of public toilets is endowed with regional characteristics.Then combined with the excellent bamboo architectural design cases at home and abroad to analyze and summarize the design techniques,summed up the bamboo elements in the design of public toilets in the use of techniques and design principles.Finally,it is applied to tourist toilets to better integrate the environment of toilets and scenic spots,so as to achieve the harmony and unity of nature,people and architecture.The thesis is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction,which discusses the background,the research status,the significance and purpose of the project,the research methods,and the overall framework of the research.The second part summarizes the basic characteristics of bamboo and the decorative techniques in architectural application,and then combines the design techniques of excellent bamboo toilet cases at home and abroad.Finally,the decorative design technique is used in the design of tourist toilets and the relationship between bamboo and tourist toilets is discussed.In the third part,design strategies and methods are obtained based on the above exploration and applied to specific cases.In view of the problems existing in the tourism toilets in this scenic spot,design strategies are proposed.The fourth part summarizes and anticipates the topic through the above research and theoretical analysis.
