The phenomenon of village in the city is the product of the rapid development of urbanization process.It is a specific region in the city,which fails to keep up with the pace of urban mainstream development in terms of economic,political and cultural level.However,the relatively lagging area in urban development has affected the further development of urbanization level to a certain extent.In order to improve the process of urbanization,the government began to plan the transformation of the urban village.The original purpose of the transformation was to carry out the overall transformation of the urban village,so as to achieve the goal consistent with the level of urban development.However,in the process of implementation,there were many obstacles,which made the transformation of the urban village unable to be achieved step by step.As a relatively backward economic area in the city,there are many rural population and floating population from other areas in the area.For such people with low cultural level and economic income,the urban village is an important habitat where they can stop to live in the city.The government lacks consideration of the consumption level of this kind of people when transforming the villages in the city,which leads to a large number of urban problems,such as the reduction of the sources of rentable houses and a series of other problems,which causes a very unfavorable factor for the migrant population.Therefore,I think about the influencing factors of symbol consumption in the process of urban village space transformation,and then start the research of urban village space transformation under the new era of consumption culture.The main research object of this paper is the urban village with mature development in large cities,developed surrounding areas but poor environment in the village,and migrant population as the main living population and transformation needs.From the perspective of consumption culture and the research methodology of symbolic consumption,the application research work of urban village space transformation is carried out.First of all,the background,purpose,significance,current situation,content,ideas and methodology of the research are discussed.Then,from the perspective of consumer culture,and based on the theory of semiotics,It abstracts the symbolic symbols produced by consumption behavior and the artistic symbols and logo symbols formed under the aesthetic system.Through the analysis and research of two typical cases of the transformation of Shenzhen City Village,it summarizes the design strategies of symbolic symbols,artistic symbols and logo symbols in the urban village space,and puts forward three principles of design.At the end of the paper,according to the practical summary of the three kinds of design elements extracted from the design symbols in the urban village space renovation,the paper creates a design method of the urban village space renovation that is suitable for the characteristics of contemporary consumption culture,and forms the urban village renovation scheme system that is in line with the current consumption era.
