In the context of the 5G era,the smart home market has been broadened,and more users have started to come into contact with smart home products,the understanding and experience of smart home has been further deepened.In the field of smart home,data visualization has become an important part of the product to provide better service to the C-user.Showing the collected data in a form that can be quickly understood by the user not only facilitates the use of the product by the user,but also improves user satisfaction and thus increases user stickiness.At present,the smart home field has begun to pay attention to the research of data visualization for improving user experience.Along with the progress of technology,the display form of data visualization has gradually changed from static to dynamic,and will develop in the direction of 3D in the future.The popularity of smart home and the rapid transformation of data visualization both put higher demands on the user experience of smart home data visualization.In this paper,we first cross-study the basic concepts and fundamental theories within the two fields of data visualization and user experience,sort out the historical process,development trend and basic design process of data visualization,analyze the types,elements and design framework of user experience,propose three smart home data visualization user experience dimensions of visual,interactive and emotional by analyzing the user experience in smart home data visualization,and summarize three user experience evaluation criteria of effectiveness,efficiency and satisfaction.Then this paper develops the design research of smart home data visualization from three perspectives of design process,design method and design evaluation.In terms of design process,through the optimization and integration of the basic design process of data visualization and user experience design framework,the design process of data visualization of smart home products based on user experience is proposed in combination with the concept of lean design;the design method to improve the user experience of smart home data visualization is studied and proposed,which includes three experience levels: visual,interactive and emotional,and its feasibility is verified by using the questionnaire survey and the importance ranking of each design method is obtained.The feasibility of the method is verified and the importance of each design method is ranked by using questionnaires;in terms of design evaluation,the specific application of usability testing in the evaluation of smart home data visualization product design is proposed.The article concludes with the proposed design process,design method and evaluation method to complete the design practice of smart home electricity monitoring app,which solves the problems of home electricity data visualization,and this design practice provides a more effective support for the conclusions in the article.
